An hour off bottle dump searching Woohoo!!! Best wishes and speedy recovery to Susan!!! This has to be one magical forest, wow!! The hot water bottles are brilliant, regarding the German mineral bottles I believe the number is the produce number and the letter is the first letter of the makers name or company. The stoneware bottles are Dutch gin bottles and the cypher is the size of the content. That thing with the cross and heart on is to put Holy Water in. Every child used to have one in their bedroom in years gone by. I am 71 and I was gifted one in 1951 when I did my First Communion. People dipped their fingers in it and made the cross sign before going to bed!

The faith, hope, and love ceramic is a Catholic holy water font that you keep in the home, sometimes in a bedroom, to use before prayers (I had a Hümmel one in my childhood bedroom to use before bedtime prayers).
One idea- You could make wall hooks, bathroom hooks, or key hooks etc. w/ larger broken tile pieces or mosaics of them an also utilize some of the antique nails you’ve found & other metal pieces or in the shape of squares/diamonds that have a hanger on the back and even larger pieces
Though I think the old nails would make really cool jewelry-some ideas are things like being the anchor piece for some chandelier earrings w/ beads or small sea glass beads hanging from nails bent into the shape of semicircles or chevrons, for example. I would wear them as dangle earrings with them hanging straight down (tips filed down a bit of course). They could also be curved and make for some nice, edgy small gauge earrings (esp the copper ones bc they’re anti-microbial) or be cut down and attached to backings in a way to make it look like nails are going through ones ear, but I like the idea of them being made into bracelets- with a couple made into a chain, or into bead that can be threaded with long pieces of thin leather that wraps around the wrist multiple times. This is an idea for a necklace pendant as well.
But a bangle or hinged bangle would be very cool, or ring in which the nail wraps around the finger and the head and point overlap. The metal pieces like nails and nuggets and such are also items that would make for good men’s jewelry options, whether it’s tie clips or lapel pins- perhaps even cut in half if possible so as not to protrude from clothing as much. Wonder if this is something u could use the marbles in bad condition for? tumble them and make them into cabochons for tie clip & lapel pin sets or earrings…
I always envision beautiful yard Art/plant decor or wind chimes being made with your broken finds & large marbles hanging to weigh down the chime piece. Sometimes people don’t want things that make noice so just a wind “chime” of strung tile pieces could be pretty. I also have a mosaic cross that has smaller pieces of flowery tile glued on top in the shape of flowers and such.
I also think that with your casting skills you might consider casting frozen Charlotte‘s silicone to create it sugar frozen Charlotte‘s that can be used as they were traditionally and possibly collaborate with a shop in town to feature them in cakes or cupcakes and sell them as well. I love the idea of these present cakes!
I also keep envisioning sea glass sun catchers which range in size, that can be hung next to, in front of, or actually on a window/light source (using a suction cup or command strip if small enough), for ex: onto a small kitchen window or hung and feat. A small piece of driftwood or sculptural metal hanger that has holes drilled in it for attaching strings of sea glass beads & broken bottles/colored glass with sharp edges filed or melted smooth (U can actually melt glass in a kiln a d this May be a way to repurpose pretty colored glass bottles U find broken. Surely a local artisan has a kiln for glass somewhere near you that U can use. ❤️ just some ideas 🥰

Oh the J Green cup must be for me!! 😁 The tiny thimble is adorable and I have one just like it that was found in the topsoil of our driveway when it was redone recently. I’m a very petite lady and it’s so small that I can just get the very tip of my tiny pinky finger into the rim and I’d say my pinky is about the same size as a 5 year olds index finger. I think I heard somewhere that very young girls were taught to sew in the workhouses to mend clothing and bedsheets.
Those are some fantastic finds there and I love your pictorial cream pots.
Oh and the 4 and anchor sivil on the side of those mineral bottles…. I’ve been watching the Oak Island series recently and they found something with a number 4 like that on it. They said it actually represented the making of the sign of the cross across ones body. Maybe when combined with the anchor, it was meant as prayers for safe travel for those on the sea?

Your weird toothbrush would have been a denture brush. Even today, denture brushes are a lot wider and gave shorter handles.

Just went beach combing yesterday for sea glass and found a beautiful bead AND a flat bottle-shaped tiny piece of glass! Of course I thought of you two and the fun finds you come across! Loving all of the info from this haul including the revelations in the comments :)

I thought the brass piece of the tap was from an old gas valve that was threaded for 3/4 pipe. I’ve found similar ones still in the valve body. Also just wanted to say u 2 are gorgeous and I love your videos more with each upload.

I loved the video as always. Really cool finds and you two are the best. I have to say that I did not like the magic wand sound effect though.

@@bkitteh6295 I can’t imagine that paperweight existed except on a chemist or doctor’s desk.

That brush looks like it could’ve been a shoe shining brush. Or a child’s hairbrush.

I love all the glass stoppers:) In your old world - the UK - it's so abundant, but here in my world, it's as scarce as chicken teeth:)
