thank you for mentioning the sound blankets. A lot of people never mention this and it is important to get rid of that echo/tin can effect that flat floors and walls produce. If I hand my clothes drying rack with clothes behind the camera/mic it works really well for me.
Yes, microphone is only a little part of the complete sound. It is all about how you treat the room.
Zdenka, very nicely done, you say and show what we need to know, right to the point, very nicely composed and scripted. definitely a good sound, especially in studio. In my use, I prefer the wireless mic for on the go. My son and I started a new channel, for o gauge model trains, and we have a wireless mic combo on order, really helped by your wireless mic reviews. Your reviews are very helpful. Gary

High frequency boost is usually used to compensate for the loss in the high frequencies when using dense and thick windmuffs and deadcats.
As for the product, it looks to be very versatile, but if you already have some other high quality shotgun, you are probably better off by getting a wireless lav mic kit with 3.5mm input and connect your shotgun into it if you need a wireless shotgun. But as your first and main shotgun, it might be a good choice, depending on price of course.

Honestly this video is not about perfect white balance… I could care less…. This video is about giving you the most detailed information possible…. So if you see something which looks imperfect to you it is totally meant to be imperfect

It sounds good but a bit thinner than something like a Rode VideoMic Go II. I wonder how this compares to a combination of a VideoMic Go II and a the original Wireless Go I which comes at a similar price.

Chtěla bych se zeptat, zda je podle Tebe dobrý nápad s tímto mikrofonem (připojeným k laptopu/mobilu) nahrávat voiceover do videa, kde zvuky ze scény jsou tlumené, ale je zde potřeba mluvené slovo. Nebo bys pro tento účel doporučila raději něco jiného? :) Moc díky, Jana
Já myslím že by to mělo fungovat. Přesně nerozumím jaký účel by to mělo být ale já tento mikrofon používám na všechno a jsem velice spokojená. Mockrát zdravím do České republiky a děkuji za podporu

I have been subscribed to you for several years now and always enjoy your presentations. I took a break and top marks for this review - your reviews are now flowing so smoothly and the information is comprehensive. The wind noise reduction with the furry muff was surprisingly poor.
Comica's website does not even have those crucial specifications you displayed available on their website. They don't list this microphone in their document downloads.
I need an outdoor microphone asap because my little Comica CVM-VM10ii had its 1/8" jack fail internally. I will let you know how that service correspondence goes.

On default it sounds pretty good, on the High frequency....wow the S and Ts come in painful, to my ears anyways. The wireless had great distance without losing clarity of your voice for some time but there was a weird white noise constantly unfortunately

I bought this and interestingly nowhere seems to give a good coverage on exactly how to use it. I find it is extremely sensitive to touch, and will also record my inward breaths. A video on how to actually 'these' shot gun mics would be so useful
