@@TroyMairs My friend Skylar also supports your videos! BTW may I know what the song you used at the end of the video is? I really love it☺ Thank you!!
Was the wired audio dropout that happened to you via XLR? and if not, how much of a difference will it make in terms of audio quality if I were to use an XLR and a recorder like the Zoom H4n pro with this mic
@@YosefRaffah I believe my dropout experience came in the form of the wireless transmisson, and not in the actual recording from the mic. So directly inputting the feed into a recorded through XLR should bypass that issue!
Great question! There are a few factors at play when it comes to setting audio levels. Generally, I try to keep my camera volume level as low as possible (in-camera preamps tend to be of poor quality). To compensate, I will adjust the mic gain to bring my audio levels to around -12db (for dialogue)
Thank you! I opt for Davinci Resolve's voice isolation/dialogue leveler for nearly all of my audio clean up. Adobe Audition seems to have some pretty cool tricks up its sleeve as well!
Cool review. Stay classy 😂
We just became best friends.
Love this review! It's really helpful. It seems like VM30 is a good choice for budget filmmaking.
Definitely! Thanks for checking out the video!

Im new to all of this, what DB setting volume level do you have on the Mic? Receiver and on the Camera?
