Risk of Rain 2, but I enjoy Command artifact too much

- So, it happened. The Command artifact, along with others, is now in Risk of Rain 2, and that means only one thing: stacking dozens of items of your desire! My obvious first pick was Will-of-the-wisps. Let's see how quickly this run will go off the rails.
Music:
0.17 - Forest Area - Kirby's Adventure
1.04 - Running Hell - Cave Story arranged, by DM Dokuro
4.11 - Trainwreck of Electro Swing - A Hat in Time
8.19 - Metalmancy - Crypt of the Necrodancer
(polka version at 10.05)
10.28 - Pillar Men Theme - JoJo's Bizarre Adventure
12.52 - Into the Doldrums - Risk of Rain 2

I have always felt like I'm just the most useless thing in this world, but after seeing Aurelionite in this video, I'm feeling better about myself now.

This is the epitome of "a chain is only as strong as it's weakest link"
This build but now with Forgive Me Please is even more terrifying tbh. Truly you are able to possess the wrath of the gods.
My friends and I almost exclusively play with the command artifact and it's fun. the only downside being by the end everybody's builds end up amounting to the same thing and it doesn't really matter what character you're playing anymore. with lasers and missiles and Willow wisp and gasoline explosions happening everywhere individual character abilities become meaningless amid the explosions.
In high loop runs that is always the case. It eventually gets to the point where what character you are no longer matters
If you play engineer the only thing you gotta do is pick up items even. Hellfire tincture+gestures/fuel cells+razorwire+crowbar = stuff dies just for existing, and engineers bungus combo makes him uniquely good at this. Throw in n'ukahanas opinion and really you barely need a proc chain to be op
@@GamerKiwi man got a lucky run with 5 reds before stage 4 on engineer. Killed mithryx on stage 21 with 150 bungus and 75 infusions fully stacked. Shooting out skulls 10 times a second. All those reds and not getting dagger? You'd literally just have to kill 1 enemy and the entire map would get wiped, then anything that spawns after would instantly die.

There is a mod that adds an artifact that makes items much more rare to get, however you get three of the item when picking up one. This does affect enemies in the Void and such, however it allows some extreeeeeeemely powerful runs.
Now stack razor wire, armor plate, brooch plus permanent uptime hell fire tincture

I started playing this game almost a year ago because of this video and it was the best purchase of my life. I also did one run where I had almost 200 soldier syringe and it was crazy
Imagine not having 100 stacks of each item up to crowbars and fuel cells
"the return of billy, missile pisser"
commando, Mul-T, or huntress using the arrow barrage primary. anybody else might also get away with this too by taking a certain optional Lunar item.
whites: syringes mainly, but you can tack on a couple backup mags, crit chance (this is actually important if you play with huntress btw), and stickies. also Fireworks. it's mo' missiles.
Green: ATGs. we're skipping ukulele because where we're going we don't need proc chains for maximum missile urination. throw in Razorwire too. it shoots shit that aims at nearby foes when you take damage, so it counts. maybe round off crit chance with a single stack of scythe and predatory instincts. toss in a wisp or three if you get truly bored and want the missiles to turn into mini nukes.
Red: clovers (be sure to stack em hard), maybe an alien head, and maybe a hardlight afterburner. also Behemoth cause missiles are technically rockets: feel free to stack it hard for maximum micheal bay. if you really feel like making the game boring once you hit your final form of unlimited missile piss, get ceremonial dagger to make defeated enemies turn into more missiles.
Boss: Little Disciple. hey, it shoots short range missiles while you sprint. it totally counts.
Equipment: BFG/Preon accumulator. shoot it above the heads of your enemies. urinate MORE missiles.
(Optional) Lunar: a couple stacks of Visions of Heresy. only needed if you are anybody that doesn't piss out boolets.
Missile factory sure sounds promising
@@CrabBar alternatively add more missiles by being engi with that brand spanking new (or rather, his returning!) utility, and your choice of turret. double down on hardlight afterburner and alien head in conjunction with visions and soldiers syringe with the original build. dunno why i didn't think of that earlier.
Flurry, the primary I assume you're reffering to, only has a 0.7 proc coefficient (fancy talk for any non guaranteed on hit effect always being 30% less likely to happen) so Mul-T's basic primary might be better and VoH has 1.0 coefficient spread out between a 0.1 coe and 0.9 coe but the need to "reload" make it a worse than Mul-T's primary
ps. I heard it can't trigger twice from a youtuber but can't find any confirmation

This would be perfect with Ceremonial Daggers, maybe about like 3 stacks.
the crash reminded me of spike strip stacking in the first ror lmfao
stack atg missiles, just imagine a constant stream of missiles locking onto every enemy killing them near instantly
Well, stacking atgs will only make them nuke-oneshot every enemy, streams are solely clover's duty there
@@CrabBar hmmm ok. well another suggestion i had would maybe be fuel cells or gestured of the drowned, get something like foreign fruit for near invincibility, the backup for tons of drones to help fight, royal capacitor for tons of lightning for near insta kill, etc etc
whaowl ive tried stacking those drones and it sucks. Capacitor is a great time, as is missile swarm and healings
@@ShinyMudkip914 Backup caps out on 5 groups of drones released as far as i know. i tried this and i was pretty disappointed... - then swapped drones out for black holes. partytime!
Damn that really sucks to end on a crash, hope you have better luck in your next playthroughs :)
Or just should stack less clovers I guess, heh
@@CrabBar u should also try 2 artifacts: 1) x2 spawn, x0.5 hp 2) item drop from mobs. Then, after u got some power spike, go and clear Void fields (where u unlock Acrid), amount of dropped items is ridicolous.
There is no real gameplay value in infinite items glitch tbh, but who knows if that's gonna make for a nice meme tutorial
This video has a banger sound track. Superb music choice. You have taste.
Command is my favorite thing to do in this game. I love seeing the synergies and putting it on Monsoon keeps it punishing enough to chase the dreams.

This was surprisingly nice to watch. That’s a thumbs up.
Dude! Gotta love him for putting the Death Metal theme form Necrodancer in! Like n a sub!
honestly, one of my favorite builds is the DOT build with acrid, where for whites you get 7 tri-tip daggers (100% bleed chance) then the rest in gasoline with a few backup mags tossed in, for greens the only DOT is technically kjaro's, so i usually just say double band+chrono+death mark, then for legendary i go with a couple shattering justices, and then ceremonial daggers. insert healing/defensive items wherever needed

*BRAIN SIZE: M E G A*
I didn’t know they finally added artifacts; glass, command and the ones that make every mob elite and mobs drop items were my artifacts to go, I had so much fun with those in ROR1.
Raphael Lim yeah absolutely, I liked going the one that made all enemies elite too.
That way I could stack four-leaf clovers that made elites drop stuff and ending up having stacks of 200 items by 60 minutes lol.
It was a bit harder to get a run going but once you got one you were in for good
well yeah, but in the first game infusion was completely uncapped AND it still gave +1 max hp per kill despite the 10% modifier on your health. that meant that if you could just get one infusion and not die for a few levels, you'd become as tanky as a normal character but with permanent 500% damage and command still active. it was bonkers.
you could get away with cheesing the first few levels that way easier in RoR1 though bc it's a lot easier to dodge every shot on a 2d board than it is to dodge in 3D with a slow ass move speed
Benjamin Lambert Yeah I know by the time I
was finishing the second run of the levels I would be hitting almost max health and at first I used that strat of stacking infusion the first levels but after I got more used to the game I went straight into stacking clovers and just relying on not getting one shotted lol
I subscribed as soon as I heard metalmancy start playing
I used to stack Wisps for fun in the first game too, but it's been brought to a whole new dimension now.
Take Swarms and that enemies drop items on death, with that you have in nearly every stage 2-4 mountain challenges and all other Altars etc. because no chests spawn ;)

A personal favorite Command build of mine is stacking Fuel Cells + Disposable Missile-Launcher, at around 25 stacks the cool down is roughly 1 second (which is less time than it takes to fire all of the missiles) and so you can basically just infinitely spawn missiles (:

Holy I had no idea clovers worked like that...gonna start building those on attack speed/onhit runs for sure
the obvious answer of what to stack:
Leech Seed, Soldier's Syringe, and 100% bleed from tri-tip dagger
Instead I'd go with new bleed boss item ( crits guarantee bleed and also booms the enemies ), crit instead of attack speed, sycthe instead of leech ( much better heal ) and berserker for attack speed. You will have more then enough attack speed and the common items can go to crit then hoofs and bears.
that's not how that works but ok
@@MMOplayeerr
normally yes this is much more efficient
but what i want to see is most of your damage coming from infinite stacking bleeds, not crits
Literally no point in stacking those past 50(Wil O wisp) should have grabbed some other on hit procs so the explosions didn't crash your game... Nice attempt tho
The 57 leafclovers are best used with CHANCE on hit items like ATG, Ukelele and the 2 Bands. Wil o wisp is guarantee proc on kill unaffected by clover. So stacking the 9 clover is not too blame for the crash the stacking +4m radius on the explosions most certainly was. Experienced a crash stacking razorwire past 70 for the same reason... They just get way to much range for it to handle
That's what I was thinking too. explosions were stacked way too much haha otherwise was good build

blast shower, runalds/kjaro's bands, gesture, and a crap ton of fuel cells is pretty nutty, blast shower removes the bands proc timer so you basically can inf proc bands
there was this one guy that stacked everything that happened uppon death. gasoline, will of the wisps, the dagger red item, and picked an equipment that procked whatever was on his on death condition. results were cleaning up a whole level by just pressing Q and watching the fireworks
Nice vid and all but I’m more worried about that phase round
Was impressed to hear the "Running through Hell for some reason" song from Cave Story
Gas is like wisps where stacking them provides a linear trend in both damage and radius. Pretty slept on in my opinion
Oh wow I DID watch one of your videos

My personal fun thing to do when doing the will o the wisp stack is to make all reds ceremonial daggers, then after they all die the next enemy that appears gets killed by the daggers then the whole thing starts again.
