    Great drive! I'm in New York City from Greater Knoxville for watching ball drop in Times Square for 2023 New Year.

    I find something else interesting. Shortly after we married we moved to San Bruno from Salt Lake, that was in 1963.

    Hello, my name is Ron Rasmussen, I was born and raised in the Bridger Valley which is located in the southwest corner of Wyoming where I-80 passes. I thoroughly enjoyed your videos about this part of my state. Concerning the video dated Sep 16, 2022 about westbound from Little America to Evanston, I do need to let you know about the statement concerning Church Butte. The actual Church Butte is not along I-80, instead it is just north of exit #53 off of I-80 by approx. 5 miles. The butte is on the southside of the original Lincoln highway which is now numbered county road 233 (Granger Road). When I-80 was constructed the south of the old Lincoln highway it was abandoned by the state and is now a dirt/gravel road ocassionaly used by the locals and many of the oil patch vehicles. Another note of interest is about Little America, it was originally located along the Lincoln highway approx. 6 miles northwest of its current location. It burned down shortly after the interstate went in and is now located at exit #68.

      Hey Ron, thanks for the information! I find the history of all that stuff so interesting! I really enjoy driving through your state because it's so different from where I live here in Michigan. Also, thanks for telling me about Church Butte; I will have to check the real one out someday! I was only going off the name of the camera that Wydot called it; I guess I should have researched it more. Sadly, about a year ago, they moved the camera angle down, so now you can't see the amazing sunsets that you guys have out there! But I guess I'm being selfish since it is a traffic camera and not a sunset camera lol.

    Not many places to eat, see several stops with no businesses at all to stop at. Do you bring a cooler, my parents said there was not much selection of food out West on their trip. We have a big selection of food in Wisconsin though less so up north. Enjoyed the video.

      Yeah I always have food and water in case something goes wrong. But there is always food at the truck stops along the way and most of the cities do have restaurants as well but they are a little more spaced out that what we are used to here in the Midwest.

    Despite the fact that this is my favorite stretch of Interstate Highway, I did not get my UA-cam name from this section. I bet the Highway to Heaven looks even more impressive in person though.
    Also, I've always wondered why they've always had signs with full maps on them around Lyman? Do people really have time to read all that information while driving?

      It is impressive in person. The camera never really does it justice!

      Also I’m curious, if you didn’t get your name from this section is there another section you based it on?

    noooooo the link for the webcam doesnt work, did they change it or take it down?

    • @Adventureswithtcs
      @Adventureswithtcs  5 місяців тому

      It looks like the link has changed, so I updated the description. The west camera view is not as good as it used to be because about a year ago they adjusted the camera angle down a touch, either intentionally or unintentionally. The view currently doesn't have the sky above the mountains, which used to show amazing sunsets.
