I used to live in Miami when I was a kid, in little Havana near Jackson Memorial Hospital. Don’t really recognize much anymore as it has changed a lot, but some areas still bring back some of the happiest memories from my childhood. I love Miami. Aww I love this so much! So much nostalgia. That grass area at Bayside with the lights is where I did my first disney tour for cars 3. So much construction still. I haven't been to Miami since February 2020. And as soon as I saw the saks I was like Dadeland mall. Freepeople & Stuart Weitzman are still there. Miss how easy it was to get a little pastilito. Makes me wanna go back & visit. I live in PSL so not as far as you. Nice opening music too.

Ah I needed this video. I’m from Miami and loved seeing this. It’s only been a year since I moved to Orlando but I still felt nostalgic watching this. Actually, if you remember, I was the bald guy with the stroller who approached you during the opening of Dreamers Point.
Our family is from Broward county and my husband worked down on Bayshore drive for 15 years. Wow what a difference! We have been in Orlando now for 29 years and we love it here. We are also a Disney family and we live about 30 minutes away from the mouse! I can’t get over the changes and the Traffic! Oh my! Thanks for the video and sharing your family with us!

Wow! What a beautiful skyline 🎉 I think I stayed around the corner from this 2 years ago prior to embarking on a DCL cruise. Good to know about this area as I am sure we will stay again at some point 😊 We ended up just going to Joes Stone Crab, which was excellent!

Miami has recently been a big part of my family’s life since we have a few of our own family there and (in my opinion) it has sorta given off the vibes of my parents’ home country of Ecuador. I have especially enjoyed it for its Latin, summery vibes. We last went to Miami in August 2022, and we did explore other Floridian locations (including Orlando). Also, my parents want to get a second residency there in the near future, and I am for that.
I’ve never been to Miami, so this was so neat to see! The two of you seemed like you had a wonderful time, and it was so special to see a glimpse into your family. I love the variety of content you put out, you guys have personalities that make everything enjoyable ❤️

I have always said macaroons too, but I got a bunch of comments telling me I was saying it wrong, so now I just have a sense of humor about it and say it both ways! Someone one explained that macaron and macaroon are two different types of cookies, I can't keep them straight for some reason haha.
I love videos like this. Just a good family getaway having some fun outside of the parks, love it. Miami is one place that I've never been to in FL, and I lived there for 15 years lol. Jackie, I've been a subscriber for awhile and I enjoyed seeing miami (where you are from) and some things Miami has to offer. I liked the Biscayne area as well. I was just in Bascayne National Park right around the first of November. Drove by Miami but didn't stop to see anything. Pretty area down there. I can't believe the woman who will ride to the top of a 200 foot lift hill, plunge down at 9000 mph and go inverted was afraid of a Ferris wheel. Next time you go to Miami take the Brightline. I'm dying to see what the Brightline is like.
Hahaha and I was nervous for each and every one of those, but I still do em!! Heights make me shaky, I don’t know how to overcome it, but I just do it anyway 😂😂😂 we’ll give the brightline a go in the future, it just kinda stinks to not have your own car in Miami.

I looked into it and the main thing is it’s so expensive and takes close to the same amount of time as driving, but mostly then we’d be stuck in Miami without a car so we’d have to Uber around or rent a car. So the math just don’t math since my parents live so far down south I need a car to get around down there. I still want to try it just to try it but it’s not super convenient for parental visits. 💕 happy new year, Lauren!
We did the Dream Wheel at American Dream in NJ and it only went around once but it would be interesting to try the one in Miami that goes around faster but more times.

I have always said macaroons too, but I got a bunch of comments telling me I was saying it wrong, so now I just have a sense of humor about it and say it both ways! Someone one explained that macaron and macaroon are two different types of cookies, I can't keep them straight for some reason haha.

I love videos like this. Just a good family getaway having some fun outside of the parks, love it. Miami is one place that I've never been to in FL, and I lived there for 15 years lol. Jackie, I've been a subscriber for awhile and I enjoyed seeing miami (where you are from) and some things Miami has to offer. I liked the Biscayne area as well. I was just in Bascayne National Park right around the first of November. Drove by Miami but didn't stop to see anything. Pretty area down there.

I can't believe the woman who will ride to the top of a 200 foot lift hill, plunge down at 9000 mph and go inverted was afraid of a Ferris wheel. Next time you go to Miami take the Brightline. I'm dying to see what the Brightline is like.
Hahaha and I was nervous for each and every one of those, but I still do em!! Heights make me shaky, I don’t know how to overcome it, but I just do it anyway 😂😂😂 we’ll give the brightline a go in the future, it just kinda stinks to not have your own car in Miami.

Highly recommend the Brightline for your next trip down. Can’t stand i95 😂. Looked like a fun trip home! Haven’t been to Bayside in so long.
I looked into it and the main thing is it’s so expensive and takes close to the same amount of time as driving, but mostly then we’d be stuck in Miami without a car so we’d have to Uber around or rent a car. So the math just don’t math since my parents live so far down south I need a car to get around down there. I still want to try it just to try it but it’s not super convenient for parental visits. 💕 happy new year, Lauren!
