I bought my LG Hx906Tx in 2011, in 2019 it stopped at the loading message, I took it to the official LG repairer and they got a new motherboard for 125 euros. This week it stopped at the loading message again, I took it to LG again and this time they said that the board no longer existed and there was no repair. I found this video, and I'll be honest, I didn't believe it would work. I bought a heat gun for 20 euros and it worked. It's alive again! Thanks a lot for the help. HNDWood you are the men! Holy macintosh! U da man!! This worked. Thanks!! I also suggest cleaning the soldered portion of those chips at the back (underside of the board) using a soft toothbrush doing gentle strokes. It could also because unplugging and replugging those connections to the system board helped.

What temp do Iset the heat gun at? How long in minute did you spend on each IC? One man suggested putting the board in the oven at 130 deg C and wondered if the circuits will stand this? I might try about 90 deg C or would that also be crazy?
Hi. I set the heat gun to be at an average of 250 degrees Celsius. I kept it around 30-60 seconds in each integrated. Apply to all the integrated ones on the motherboard. Apply to the ones on the back of the motherboard. And definitely do not hold the gun in a fixed place. This may cause the integrated to burn. Move the gun constantly. Solder melts at 180-200 degrees Celsius on average. Therefore, it will not be useful if you bake it at 90 degrees Celsius.
@@hndwood You won't believe it mate but it actually worked. Well, just about because it got past the initial built in test startup and the DVD drawer now opened too and so I played a test vid satisfactorily. I could also now also see all my previously recorded programmes too. Then came the downside. I had previously tried a factory reset whilst I was unable to see anything on the screen and so all the pre-tuned programmes were lost. Anyway I thought I would just re-tune them back in, however there was no signal despite the aerial working fine on the TV. After a lot of fiddling around I turned my attention to the tuning circuit box on the same main board. So I popped the board out again and armed with my new trusty heat gun I gave the tuner connections just a few seconds of max heat. What did I have to lose, I thought. Then I put it back together and BINGO! Nice feeling when it picked up all the TV stations when I tried it again and it's now fully functional.😁

Merhaba.Cihaz çalışıyor bir sorun yok.Ama saç kurutma makinesi kullanmadım ben.Saç kurutma makinesinin ısısı yeterli gelmiyor.Saç kurutma makinesi yerine sıcak hava tabancası kullandım.Ondada dikkat etmeniz gereken çok sıcak hava vermemek.Sıcak hava tabancaları 650 derecelere kadar ısı verebiliyor.200-250 dereceyi geçmezseniz iyi olur.

Tabancada derece göstergesi yok.Onun yerine 2 kademe var benim. 1. kademede yapmıştım. 1.kademede maksimum 450 derece veriyor. Ben maksimumun biraz altında yapmıştım.Muhtemelen 300 derece dolaylarında falandır.

İnternete LG Bluray kumanda yazıp kumandanın aynısından bulup almalısın.Yeni nesil cihazlardaki gibi eşleştirme benzeri bir şey yapılmıyor.
