I’ve seen so many times where a tankless is installed in summer with no problems then in winter complaints of my water isn’t hot and error codes. In SW Ohio my water temp is close to 80. In February it was below 60.
I like rheem, treated me good over the years. No breakdowns, just replaced a brown turd 10 seer condenser with a single stage 16 seer rheem to match the furnace. Keepin it simple.
My grandfather has a house in Vero Beach Florida which I think is too far south of the area your servicing its about two hours south of Orlando, but it would be neat for you to come service us. Whenever he comes back for the winter theres always something that needs to be repaired.
I like to practice marking all make ups on pro press fittings as I know they are made up before it’s pressed. Good for putting together several fittings before pressing them
making the trades great again Mikey Pipes. How you doin. #LoveBosch Smash the Like button for Mikey Pipes and Smash the Subscribe for the helicopter helper. SMASH IT!!!
Do you need a drip leg going into the furnace? It is not a vertical connection going into the furnace. I thought that only the last vertical run needs a drip leg to catch any debris as the pipe enters the furnace. Not a horizontal feed.
If you Don’t Wear Knee Pads you will get to Experience a Total Knee Replacement. Not Fun so please take my Word for it. Recovery is long and difficult.. 🤔🙏
Is changing everything, why did client not want to go with a heat pump ? That old install was very tidy.... the installer LIKED his work... You mentioned Grey Goose just as I was about to post it... lol
I work on ultra-low scientific refrigeration systems and we pull vacuums down to 25 microns or lower and it has to pass a decay test and can’t exceed 50 microns.
Clearance to that panel looks a little close. Need minimum 30 " space left to right. So you need 15 " from the centerline of the main panel to your boila. Not criticizing at all . Nice job.👍
No drip leg on the gas line for the tankless? (Watched vidoe a couple of times and din't see it on the other side or down the line when you were pressing the gas line at the unit.
My Bosch unit is awful. Yes, it makes heat in the winter, but in the summer it's 72*F, 72% humidity!!!! My old R-22 system was 75*F and 45% humidity!! I'm seeing black mold on the ceiling by the ducts.
Not the buster guy shoes and he’s a pain customer but maybe it wasn’t the years of plumbing. Maybe it’s the fact that he’s 50 to 60 to 70 pounds overweight
Following the customers lead to make everything look consistent, proper and professional is your forte Mikey. Nicely done!

Yes, that is too far. We only service Orange County and Seminole County, sometime we’re going into Volusia county

Wow really nice work. You like using rheem. Where do u get ur rheem units from?
FERGUSON
nope
MCN - owned by Rheem
Is the exhaust not to close to the Condenser unit incase the rheem unit , gas purgers and there's a arc fault in the compressor circuit.??

Heat pumps are expensive and he doesn’t want solar
melting the old copper. "breathing lead fumes and other heavy metals" is more fitting. lol
30:41 when I do my decay test I turn off my vacuum pump is there a reason you have yours on?
Valves are closed. We typically do it 2-3x before stopping
Part 2 I hope to see it running?

Bosch works best with a two speed blower. The low speed is good for humidity reduction.
I wish I could work for you ❤
Those electrical lines up by the floor Joist make my eyes hurt … What a mess
It is what it is. A job for sparky

In school, they told me that if you vacuum down under 250 µm the oil starts to fractionate
