To your comment on ‘Holiday’ being the second song ... instead of the finale song. Interestingly ... it becomes her finale song in later tours! Also, that little dance move that trips you out 🤣 in “ Into the Groove” evolves into one of her most iconic and signature dance moves for the “Papa Don’t Preach” video. 💯 Watch for it!

Hi Empress, I'm so glad to watch again this awesome tour with you!!! Yes the production Is cheap indeed, if we compare It with her other pharaonic tours, but the show Is Madonna. She's enough to fill the stage 😍 From this first tour, she danced and sing all time long. No other did that at that time, apart the king Michael obviously. In 1987, when she appeared in Italy for her huge Who's that girl Italian concert, she was a goddess, not a simple woman anymore. It's incredible what she was doing in a few years. She was considered the most famous woman of the world and the greatest star along with MJ. And her success had not boundaries. Almost all the world loved her. Love you Empress please keep on with this nice travel and stay with us 😘😘
Well, that was fun! She has a great repertoire of songs on this first tour and it only gets better over the years. Looking forward to the next installment!
All that dancing AND singing at the same time. It was all so brand-new for an artist to do on stage back then. People always criticized her for her voice, but try to sing and do a marathon at the same time, I mean...! I always loved her voice for being so real and vulnerable. And your reactions make me happy too! Good goin' stranger! :-)
You did Rockwell, I need to check that. One reason there was so much physical movement in the 80s was Michael Jackson. He set a certain standard with Thriller. To be that famous, you had to sing and dance at the same time and much needed talent to sing live, otherwise the dictating record labels wouldn't even sign you on those days. Otherwise Madonna would've neber been signed. Others who could mega pull it live were, the purple eminence Prince, Cindy Lauper, our dearest Whitney, Janet Jackson, Paula Abdul, late 80s Bobby Brown, New Kids On The Block, George Michael and many more. The 80s set the standard(that almost can't be matched today?).

It refers back to the Intro “.... I worked really hard and my dreams came true”. What I absolutely ❤️❤️❤️ is how Madonna refers back to this performance of “Everybody” a lot later during her career during live performances of “Hung Up” where the boom box appears on the stage... she even grinds on it in the music video. Always a discreet throwback throughout her career if you look/listen closely.
