Man one thing i love about Jeremy's videos is that he covers smaller topics, almost like they're primers, as part of the larger topic the video is about. Great for providing refreshers.
Its amazing how much detail this video goes into JUST to give the watcher the background to understand a simple function such as dCEF after having learned CEF. Hats off Jeremy.. please keep making these!
I’m slowly working my way through your CCNA series. The way you present the material makes it easy to understand. I do a lot of pausing because I’m taking notes as I watch the videos
MAN Thanks A LOT for all your valuable content. I am watching all your videos y believe the way your explain everything is just different . THank you. I want to encourage you to continue building up the course and please I personally need more content about SD_Access
Oh man, I remember when the small ISP I worked at ten years ago got their first ASR 9k. Massive thing, stupidly expensive, and took over the core of the network on its own. I couldn't help but nerd out over it for months and months.
Jeremy, I gotta be honest. I'm sure it's me, but when I got done with this "dCEF" lesson - my thought was "centralized CEF sounds like the same thing as the traditional software based routing"... kinda like the RIB is just the routing table. Maybe the difference is the FIB and Adjacency tables are more efficient but the packets still travel up to a processing unit... true CEF is packets hitting the hardware and in and out (Whataburger?) of the hardware interfaces. Anyway - much thanks for your content - between the online videos and 3 Boson exams and 1 of your's I passed the CCNA first try - which, again - gotta be honest was a complete shock. I got half way thru the actual CCNA test and beginning to contemplate whatever else I I might do besides networking because I felt like I was getting thrashed. I was so excited to pass I came home and started the CCNP videos immediately. Thanks much - keep up the great work. PS - I'm in Texas so I don't know if the Whataburger and In and Out references make any sense - especially sense your Canadian residing in Japan but we'll live thru it... : )
This series along with OCG is proving a great combination. Hope the rest of the series come as quick as I can get through the OCG! Just wish the labs were done in Netsim as not all of us can get CML.
Hi Jeremy, in comparison to your CCNA course (roughly 121 videos), how many videos do you think your CCNP ENCOR course is going to be? if you had to guestimate?
Don't expect to get questions about every single aspect of every single exam topic on the exam: the ~100ish questions you are asked on the exam aren't nearly sufficient for that to be possible. I'd be surprised if you got more than one question about CEF (maybe two max?).

Jeremy your content is amazing and very practical. I work with ASRs and RPs on a daily basis and this information is amazing.

This is why I really love your content. your are teaching people not just by the exam topics but to become CCNP
Thank you Jeremy,,,,, Let me share, like and Comment you are the most important pearson in this world
Hey Jeremy,

best explanation I have ever seen, thanks jeremy
Hi @jeremy 6:47, is Hardware based routers pertains to having RP and FC, while Software based routers have only RSPs?
The saddest part of this CCNP course is the one where i have to get my CCNP before it will be finished. Amazing lesson Jeremy.
Another excellent lesson.
HI jeremy, watching from south africa. please tell me, what is a line card ? and the difference between line card and router/switch . thanks
Hello! It's a hardware module that provides network interfaces. You insert into a chassis router/switch.
Thank you, Jeremy.
Thank you! Great!
Thank you Jeremy

At this point..I have no idea!
Thanks for lecture
thank you very much for your help
BGP coming soon I hope 🙏
gees They must have changed the syllabus, DCEF wasn't in the exam when I took it. what a difference a couple of months make. They must have added it
