- We’re singing something fun and cute this week! I decided I sing too many angry and sad songs on this channel so here’s an effort to sing something just a lil fun and silly for the lolz. Hope you enjoy my cover of Friend Like Me from Aladdin!
I decided I’d give myself a little accent challenge in an attempt to pay homage to Robin Williams, it felt wrong to sing this without some accents thrown in ! Either way it was a lot of fun just to be kinda silly at my mic. There are several takes that didn’t make it because I would end up laughing at myself mid take ✌️

The song definitely is better when people have fun with it rather than just singing it. Of course no ones Robin Williams, who'd probably just love having inspired people to sing.
This is one of those songs that you don't just sing, but one you PERFORM. And there is a notable difference between the two.
"So what's your wish? I really wanna know" the way you sang said it sounded like the accent some of the girls use/have in heartstopper

Gotta say this is nice and relatively calm in comparison to the other versions, I could see myself listening to this in a cafe or other relaxed setting. But, I love the energy of the other versions that give this song so much pizazz.

Nice cover! It sounds a lot like Annapantsu's version (meant as a compliment) except not as high pitched and with some changes to the words being sung.

I honestly want to hear a Prince Ali cover that combines both the animated and live action versions. The animated version is very cartoony while the live action is more cinematic (Plus there’s that one scene with Genie and the Sultan) so I think combining them both would be chef kiss 🤌🏻 Plus Robin Williams did amazing with the “Fabulous Herb I love the feathers part” and the constant voice changes in the original. Who else wants to see these two versions combined
