Love Aldo's Tools. I got rid of MultiMan a long time ago because I don't really use it for anything. I pretty much just use webman for everything and then use Irisman as my file explorer.

webman is better to actually load games but I always loved the multiman file manager to do certain things on the filesystem and it is cool it is bein maintained

Ok, so For the first time I am using NTFS succesfully previously always failed for some reason. I folllowed intil I copied USB.CFG to Multiman folder, and then tried accessing pvd0 but it did not load and displayed a blank page with my Multiman Mod freezing then i remembered why it never worked before. I just used prepISO and my Games show up on Multiman Mod and Webman. BUT How do I Dump my Discs as ISO to the NTFS? Only ever used multiman and webman So no idea about managunz. There is no option to transfer/copy/backup my discs to my NTFS showing in Multiman, Will Managunz let me do this? EDIT: Just tried it Freezes when I try to put my Disc in.
Out of curiosity, using this "USB.CFG" method to make a NTFS USB viewable on a mmcm, can the same be done for an NTFS external HDD? Although I can just use showtime or so, is it possible, and is there a configuration for an external HDD? Does it mean you gotta rename it differently sinch its a external HDD and not a USB ?

I have friend he changed his 4tb and 6tb WD external hard drive to MBR and use it well he didn't tell me how he do that all I know is we must format external hard drive to 512 byte (sectors)
Does this mean I can install more than 1,5TB interal HDD and more than 2TB external HDD? Or it's just certain games that got large files that won't install into external because of fat32 limitation can now go into external?

I've been having problems ever since I upgraded my fat PS3 to Evilnat 4.91 CFW and updated Multiman. Every time I try to launch a PS2 game now the system powers off when they worked just fine on Rebug. Anyone know what the problem is or if there's a fix besides downgrading back to Rebug?
I tried reinstalling EvilNat 4.91.2 Beta 9 multiple times, and even went as far as to try downgrading to Rebug 4.84.2 and it still won't budge. Likely going to be a worse problem than I anticipated probably going to have to nuke the system and start fresh at this point. My roommate's PS3 plays PS2 games just fine I think there's some incompatibility between the CFW I had before and the way it ripped PS2 games or mounted them and the way newer CFW's do.
Worth realizing you only ever need to play 1. Maybe 2. Take this as someone who collects 3DSs and PS3s. I keep my Phat PS3 and Slim PS3 updated, and everything else is just on display (or sometimes loaned out to friends when they want to play a PS3 game)
Why is your video so late? I have wiped my ps3 hdd by mistake yesterday. And today I have to re install the os and other hen. Because I took the hdd out and tried to use it with hdd enclosure. As the ntfs hdd was not getting detected. Anyways thank you sir

Welp it just keeps crashing whenever I try to open multiman MOD. Im going to try uninstalling my old mm and just install the mod.
on my ps3 i have cfw installed but i dont see the evilnat when i check my software version on my ps3 but all cfw options work

I've been told about it. From what I know its ONLY possible with WD drives and you have to use their specific formatting software.

What is the ext drive size limit. I have a 10tb and seem to have difficulties getting it to read on the ps3 as ntfs. Any help is appreciated

MMFILE.SELF isnt popping up in multiman? I double checked everything and the .cfg file seems to be correct and its formatted in NTFS

It might be worth reaching out to Evilnat over.
A System Software reinstall fixes that problem. I had the same issue with a HEN / HFW install.

Everytime I exit mmcm mod, it converts itself back to normal multiMAN

That's fine, it will still boot in mmCM mode.

webMAN still has its uses, i.e.: not having to launch another app just to mount a game iso, or check temps, or run FTP.
It's best to use them in tandem.

Um people been using SSD on ps3 since 2018/2019 with improved load time, works with modded systems well.
