Vinyl siding removal tool

Here is a short demonstration on how to use a vinyl siding removal tool. The siding zip tool that I am using is the Malco SideSwiper II. Hmm… it might take me a while to get to that one. I haven’t actually ever done a job with insulated panels in the 15 years or so. I’ve put a 1” insulation panel and then siding on top of it before. But I’ll be sure to put it in my notes and will get to it when possible.

This is true. Certainteed Monogram has a special zip tool. And I’m sure that some people’s vinyl siding is so aged and brittle that it will crack no matter how gentle you try to be.
