Captured the relationship between Ellie and Joel perfectly. Cuz they're both pretty much the only reason neither of them have gone insane yet.
“I’ve been dead half my life, she is my reason to live” that spoke to me. I got a nephew two years ago and I’ve been dealing with severe depression since 2010 and I honestly feel better just seeing him. I’d even go as far as to say he IS my reason to live.

How hard could it possibly be to find a decent combat knife in a world full of dead soldiers?!
Yea like I’ve found sharper rocks and still haven’t found a combat knife
Or even make one. Take a leaf spring, separate the layers, cut one down with a hacksaw, and file an edge onto it, then fashion some sort of grip & scabbard. (Spring steel is a good easy-to-source material for making knives from.) Hell, if you've got the free time, the unglazed rim at the bottom of a coffee mug is hard enough to (very slowly) grind an edge into steel. And there's a bunch of improvements that can be made in the process, they're just not crucial if you're just trying to make something better than the shivs.
The shivs in game make sense for the most part, but it doesn't make sense for Joel not to have better.
i think combat knife are hard to find because the soldiers didn't make them but guns instead

Joel loses his daughter hardens his heart stops caring if he lives or dies keeps doing jobs that puts him in danger survives them all meets Ellie takes the job of getting her to somewhere and she softens his hardened heart and gives him a Reason to live. The lyrics you wrote fit so perfectly

@@stardestroyer9181 i agree but if he was gonna die, he should've died much better! also, there's a whole lot more problems than just joel's death, for starters, the game doesn't feel apocalyptic, the apocalypse part of the story doesn't change 1 factor with the story besides "makes people insane lol." like, if you were to completely remove the apocalyptic aspect of the story, and just make it take place in gta v, nothing about the story would change a bit
and then there's the character development, it's all just depression, depression, depression, and then it ends, there's no happy ending, no bitter sweet ending, the ending is just depressing with no character development at all, the game could've ended literally anywhere but no, it decided to drag on to make everyone regret playing the game
lastly, multiple times in the story, a ton of concepts are brought up but never fully realized and just end as soon as you end that segment of the game, which is a major no-no for any game. in half life 2, you find these snipers that you can only take down with explosives, and after you clear those, you never have to fight them until the end of the game where they throw more at you and make you experiment with cover, different explosives to use, and how to avoid them. but not in tlou2, you just learn something, put it in the back of your mind, and slowly forget about it as you move along!
This rap is actually quite sweet lol showing how much Joel has grown to love and care for Ellie :D

This is amazing! This whole song, including the original, feel so different from most other music in a certain sentimental way. Perfect vibe for this game. Also, I'm always down for a remaster of Black Flag Rising and any of your Fallout raps.
