It's kinda what our world is going through at the moment feels like it's all unraveling.
Exactly. This song feels like reality for america right now. Especially the lyric "if you still think were made in gods image, take a look around" really explains America's state right now.

I finished playing The Last of Us Part 2 today... it broke me, I shed tears throughout, this song fits the game perfectly and the callbacks to the first song really works with the context of the second game.
I react to every death in the whole game with a “SHIT! NO!”
Especially when Joel was killed off, I’m not gonna lie; I felt the loss

I gotta admit, the words always make me imagine a person protecting someone whose the cure like Ellie while they themselves are infected especially whenever I hear "If I'm not the cure, I'm the infection" . With it being a whole Ice King situation where the power can protect them both but they're also losing their humanity the more they use it. Then just to be sad, it's revealed using the cure will kill the infected person and they actually knew it from the beginning and hid it from the cure. Then one's like the resident Evil 7 rap tell more of their story from earlier on XD
I love when these guys make a new song and like the chorus just touches your soul
Plz more of these types of actual songs! These are more impactful sounding with the beat and steady flow of the words than the raps, not saying the raps aren't good, they are, but these are more emotional

I know I’m probably one of the few that enjoyed The Last Of Us Part II just sort of wished we would’ve played as Ellie most of the game instead of 2/3 of the game as Abby, aside from that the game was pretty good. Also the song is amazing.

@Sebastian Haney actually she didn't really feel that way. "I'm the infection" implies that she thinks it's her fault that the world is as bad as it is in the game. She never really seemed to blame herself for that, she blamed Joel. She just pretty much felt more or less meaningless after she learned the truth. "I was supposed to die in that hospital. My life would've f--king mattered, but you took that from me!"
And what about the story was not interrsting? The way yall are crying about it seems like you were very much interested

I love how this song was sung in a faint female voice matching the characters in the game instead of the normal male voice. No offence to your voice, but this really sets this song apart from other songs. Keep making amazing songs for my favorite games.

I pray that if Part III clicks it’s way to us we play as Abby and Ellie again sure the Story diverges but hey come on this game is so awesome it can’t stop at 2
I feel like it would be just Abby that we play as because Ellie got her happy ending while Abbys story is still unfinished. I mean, yes I would love more Ellie but I can’t see that happening.
@@HaveYouSeenMyMeds well I wouldn’t really call Ellie’s ending a happy one, her girlfriend left because Ellie cared more about revenge than love and she didn’t even kill Abby but smack and cut her up a bit and in the process permanently loses the ability to play Joel’s guitar
@@ShadySliver17 oh shit, I completely forgot how bad Ellie was hurt during that fight, but while I loved playing as Ellie I feel like they would be drawing it out just a little bit too much even though I would love it anyway, I just feel like this was where it was supposed to end.
Just my opinion though, I’m not opposed to the idea of a part three but I feel like this is where it ends.
@@HaveYouSeenMyMeds personally I really do hope for more of this series. Not just for its characters but its worlds story and the infected. Like I want to see the more sciencey part of the game like watching a person get infected then watching the process from infected to runner to Clicker to Bloater as well as the different societies and factions like the Rattlers I loved killing those fuckers
@@HaveYouSeenMyMeds like I love how in this game they made some of the NPCs talk about their families and make it so you’d actually feel bad about killing them (which I didn’t, they tried killing me ergo put themselves in my way)
