After watching this, I don't have content, ideas, imagination what ever you say. What's coming first to be able to speak? Is that vocabulary? Is that structure? Is that grammar?
I gave my 3rd test today had a terrible experience in India. To begin the speaker asked me short questions about do u prefer collecting shoes and then about headphones. First of all, i gave my answers in 2-3 lines but she made hand gesture telling to speak more. Like I have covered my points, used connectors what more should I speak. However I tried to speak more and then she cut me many times and asked next question. This broke my confidence a little. She first asked why you like to wear headphones. After 1 question she again asked why you like headphones. Like I just literally answered it a question before. And then she is doing gestures and cutting me midway. It was very unprofessional. The first 2 times I had a better experience. I gave 1 of the test in USA where the speaker allowed me to pace my answers however I liked and never forced me to speak more.
Like if I had said that “I wear headphones all the time while I am using my cellphone or ipad. I use a sony wh1000 since last 3 years. It gives a sense of privacy as well it has noise canceling feature”. After this if I am gestured to speak more, its so like unprofessional. And then during one answers where I had more points she cut me midway and started with next question. This broke my confidence going to the main question and could not do my best and in the last part, I totally lost my thoughts and blabbered 1 of the question. I hope ielts bring better speaker for test in India.
And another thing, in the email, its written bring only passport to speaking test and registration form. But when I reached there they asked me to bring color photocopy of passport to, so I had to run back and find a stationary and get a color copy of passport. Like why is it needed and why in USA nobody asked me a color copy and why in India it is necessary and why is not written in email via IDP. Overall test is not the same shown in this videos.
I am writing this to remind me of an important thing. You need to think of a lot of things by yourself if you want to speak fluently. You cannot verbalize your thoughts without thinking by yourself. I think you should continue to think at the same time of learning how to talk in English.
- pickled tea leaf salad - upfront = in advance - I definitely think so - Some people might argue that...,but i atctually think.... - complex sentences - worldwide chain - It is a duty of people - I like to think so = yes = I would say so - to pad sth out a bit - "to fill sth, make it wider" - be specialized in - believe it or not - I thoroughly enjoy it = I really enjoy it - It was a pretty sweet deal = It was perfect for me
thank u for showing and clearing us why does he get 8.5 band score I hope i can give more concentration on next videos so that i know exactly what you want to points out but i feel sleepy and boredom when i watch like test and score videos cus i am not good at participating in exam and i have social anixety so i need to involve more face to face speaking with high band score speaker yes that is all for right now !
17:53 quick question, why didn’t he mark the usage of relative clauses as a grammatical mistake? An education agency is an institution, not a person therefore shouldn’t he have used “which” instead of “who”?
I'm proud of Jed! I'm proud to be Burmese. His English is proficient and this talent is something to be proud of. I hope when everything has been solved, Myanmar could use talents and confident people like him. A key for a country to develop is education. If everyone is educated, no one will be gullible and blindly be subservient to the military.
First seeing Burmese candidate in UA-cam channel. I'm so proud of him. Thanks for uploading it . I'm also one of Burmese students who studying English language to be fluent and perfect just like him although the leaders under the dictatorship are not supportive.

Jed has had been in an english-speaking country i.e. Aus for 7 years. What's so special in that?
The way he said is already fascinating.

There are a lot of Myanmar who are very good at English but sadly political instability stops the country's development

Oh no! Sometimes we have examples of examiners which make students feel uncomfortable. Sorry to hear this happened to you.

I.m blown away by his performance
We were too ☺️

I can't pad my WhatsApp out a bit with useful channels.
Thank you!
variety is a spice of life
He said "There are also" not "There is also disadvantages".
Myanmar is now on fire
🔥

Try not to worry so much. Just be natural and pretend you're talking to a friend. You can do it!! 🌻⭐
He should have been given a Band 9.0 score!
He said (There are also disadvantages) Not there is also disadvantages)
surprised he didnt mention that he was using "um" too often
I'm trying to speak like him . He is very good and hard working boy☺️
Keep trying and working hard 👍🏼
thanks for your
welcome

15:13 what does "perfect" or "beautiful" mean? I see he talks at the start of the answer
It means "great" or "of course"
@@IELTSDaily so can we use it in every answer or it depends on the context?
Would love to see some Bangladeshi candidates here.

Lovely comment
Nope, he said there are also disadvantage
he speaks so well. I am amazed
We agree that he's awesome!
What I read is that in speaking you can use "there's" instead of "there are" when talking about plural. Anyone else read about such thing?
It's an accepted 'slip', correct. There's lots of people at the stadium.
He did extremely wonderful !!
😇
Correct 😃
He used a lot of words like "umm" while he's speaking, also the world "yeah"
I would like to know that "Is it good to use these words in IELTS exam".
If Jed can see this comment, I would like to know how you could stay so calm during the test. I would be extremely nervous.
Just pretend you're talking to a friend
@@IELTSDaily thank you🥰
Wow! Jed! You're awesome! Your flexibility and creativity on speaking is fabulous! You're so talented man..! Thumbs up!
Thanks for the great comment. We think Jed is awesome
Well for correction, is it as he said " I live at a college" or he should have said ' I live in a college!!?
