1897: At the Bayer pharmaceutical company, pharmacist Felix Hoffmann successfully synthesizes acetylsalicylic acid, after isolating a compound from a plant of the Spiraea family; the company markets it under the brand name "Aspirin".
1908: In Virginia, Thomas Selfridge becomes the first person to die in an aeroplane crash. The pilot, Orville Wright, is severely injured but recovers.

2732 The beginning shows antennas, broadcasting waves in search of higher lifeforms because we think they may have the answers we don't. We run when we don't need to, because it is programmed in our biology. We experiment with and invent substances to hack our brain chemistry. Virtually everything we have observed within our universe has such a beautiful simplicity to it. Answers tied together with logical consistency. We crave that within ourselves. The sine waves represent our idealization. Our love for harmony, seen everywhere through art, music, even our motivations for science. The crescendo suggests that perhaps the answers we seek isn't external, but rather our internal interpretations. The limited time we spend with the people we love, and connecting with nature. The search for our human essence oscillates between the internal and external. Like a wave, we always end up back at the beginning. Our search for meaning is and will always be never ending.

Ok - Real Talk for a minute - what do you, the person reading this, think this song and video mean? What do they truly, really mean to you? What is the message being conveyed here beyond "Thoughtful"? Its an open ended question, really up to opinion, and here's mine. I think KEITH is about the future we have trapped ourselves in, it shows us the human body, once riddled with imperfections and weaknesses, has become an all knowing machine. No mistakes, no mutation, pure efficiency. The video shows us the assimilation of man, once being a diverse race, now a robotic faction of clones. Clones who are designed for the universe we once called hostile. And as one of them, a man we may have once called Keith, is sent into the skies, finally attempting to discover what it was. What was it that made him... him? Why did these robots feel the need to explore, and to conquer, and to expand throughout the universe? What was it that awaited them? What was the answer? And as he's launched into the sky, he sees not the universe, but rather, as he looks into the past, he sees a planet. Beneath him, he sees Earth. He sees the beauty in the human mind, in the human experience, in the flesh and blood and bone that composes us all, but it is foreign to him. He looks into a world he does not recognize, a species of which he is not. This video is a warning. Its a warning that there is no beauty in the universe beyond what we hold in our own hands, our own lives, our own planet. We need not explore the cosmos to find "the answer", or rise above the flesh and bone that comprises us all. It is that bone and brain that allows any of this to exist at all. If we rid of the imperfection of man, we rid of the very fabric that composes all potential for whatever we may have been looking for doing that in the first place.
i wouldn't overthink this, but maybe depicted future is under control of corporations that basically owns us. Created everything to maintain us as a machine for bigger purpose that cannot be achieved in the end - produce to conquer outer space to produce more. Dystopian man named Keith for a moment dreamed, dreamed of something far from this goal of endless cheap life loop.

2007 - The iPhone, the first modern smartphone, is released in the United States i scrolled down as far as 1276, took a while! how far does this thing go???

This video is a warning. Its a warning that there is no beauty in the universe beyond what we hold in our own hands, our own lives, our own planet. We need not explore the cosmos to find "the answer", or rise above the flesh and bone that comprises us all. It is that bone and brain that allows any of this to exist at all. If we rid of the imperfection of man, we rid of the very fabric that composes all potential for whatever we may have been looking for doing that in the first place.
