I melted my Carrack for the Arrastra. Since you get a prospector, mole and an arrow as a loaner I also melted my prospector and got a vulture. All new fleet and zero extra money spent :]

From what I heard, the Replication Layer is already in the background and the test involves splitting it from the Global Server that way CiG's Server Meshing is possible.

5 minutes wait time to do away with 30k doesn't seem too bad.

Spoiler - Risky Cargo Missions aren't really worth it now... It;s only drugs you get and not really that much now... It's a pain though, just when I bought myself a C2 to get mahoosive profit...

The only way for new players ( last 6 months) to join the war is if it got way closer to Sol. like inside of SOL!
because i was about 3 weeks new into the game and got attacked by an alien. I had no idea how or why but i wanted to find out if i got interdicted again. I didn't so i didn't pay attention to the war again. Now months later i still don't. By now i know the bubble and i know i was attacked right outside the starter systems. it also wasn't clear that i was leaving the noob sector but thats another problem. The war seems exciting but you can only be effective if you have things you need to grind a lot longer for than the war would last. Bring the suckers way way closer to sol so i cant ignore the war.
long story short. really missing a lot of incentive to join the war effort.

Get used to it. You need a triple A PC to get it running on an acceptable level at all. Optimization simply doesn't exist right now because it's not worth their time and that aside, frame rate is also related to the server and won't get much better until server meshing releases someday.
Biggest factors you can influence: you need a fast SSD (preferably not the one your OS is installed on), you need loads of RAM (at least 32 GB), you need hefty single core performance for your CPU, and you obviously need a very good GPU.

@@Nitidus I used to run the game at 20-30fps which is not great but acceptable to me, i have plenty of memory(128 gig) dual 10 core cpu's and a 16 gig GDDR5X quadro card, i assume my performance was mostly from not playing in a long time and more people on thanks to event and shaders being worked on which tends to slow things down a lot.

@@Nitidus You don't need a AAA PC , lmao. People just need to learn how to build a PC. Build it right , you'll be just fine.

My specs , Ryzen 5900X , 64gb ram @3600 , 1080Ti FTW GPU & an M.2 NVME SSD. I run SC on max settings in 1440p. I crush SC. I'll upgrade my GPU later , but my CPU & ram crush SC all day , everyday.
