ferrous annealing video

This video covers tricks and techniques for annealing ferrous metals (iron and steel) the generally same techniques can be applied for annealing aluminum.
The video is a how to covering the softening of iron and steel so that it can be drilled, filed and cold worked with tools, for shaping and finishing processes. The video does not cover hot working iron and steel, or hardening/tempering processes. I may do follow on videos discussing these areas in the future (if you are interested in these say something in the comments…)
In addition to the techniques themselves we will discuss some of the tools and equipment used in annealing. We also cover the theory of what annealing does and why you want/need to do it.
The purpose of the video is to present practical information and technique for a home shop, I.E. the things presented in the video are things the average person can do at home. If you need deeper scientific information you will want to use additional resources as well.
The writer/videographer welcomes constructive comments and criticism from the creative and metal work communities.
