Madame Web has arrived in the Sony Spiderverse, and after an interesting marketing campaign full of costume reveals on juice bottles and memeable trailer dialogue, we finally get a chance to see Cassandra Web obtain her powers on the big screen. The film stars Dakota Johnson, Sydney Sweeney, Celeste O'Connor, Isabela Merced and Tahar Rahim, and while it’s receiving a rough reception from the critics, this film might actually give us our best insight into what Sony is actually trying to accomplish in their ever-expanding cinematic Spiderverse. They've got to start with choosing actors that can act,and emote properly...Most of the issues with the movie is because they chose popular people,instead if talented people.
When he days you can't save all three is like when Green Gobling was giving Spiderman an option of either saving MJ or the kids in the sky car
No one liked this movie. Even the ones who set their bar low and expected a “fun” movie. Madame Web will become a master class lesson of Executives believing customers are dumb enough to pay $15-20 per ticket to watch 90 mins of a sloppy script and poor execution.

I can't speak to star wars as i bowed at episode 2 back in the early 2000's
One of the worst movies I have ever seen, not because of the actors... But because of Sony thinking this was worthy of even releasing.

OMG. This is what I came here to say. Just leave the girls in the house until Cassie comes back! They had managed to lay low for a WEEK without being detected. He could’ve driven Mary to the hospital himself and the girls knew not to wander off again after what happened before. It totally resolves the climax if the girls just stay at Ben’s house!
That way the story can happen!
As all over the place as this movie was I really enjoyed when Cassie told the nurse “they’re all mine” it was really heartfelt and touching for some reason
That was probably the only good part of the movie😂 that and the costumes and effects put in from the flashback/ending looked alright imo
The crack about Ben and responsibility isn't a crack about his destined death, it's a reference to the fact that Ben will inherit the responsibility of raising Peter after Mary and Richard die.

as an EMT I can assure you alot of EMT have terrible bed side manner, alot of it is due to work fatigue.
I oddly met 3 people whose reasoning was along the lines of "I had a driver's license, I needed a job, and this paid better than the post office"

Honestly didn't think it was that bad. There were definitely some odd choices made, but the Internet is treating this like it's the worst movie ever released, and it's not.
Same. Maybe my opinion is just horrible, but I stand by it. It's not gonna win any awards but it wasn't the worst movie ever like the internet says it is. The main thing I didn't like about it was the delivery of lines from Ezekiel. Other than that I didn't have an issue with the movie.

They had great actors and the origin of Madame Web wasn't that bad but the action scenes, some of the writing were bad. I even thought we'd get the other three spider woman's would get and learn how to use their powers just like in the Spider Verse where Miles tries to learn his spider powers with Peter B. Parker

I like the idea of the tribe. That’s great! But they could’ve done more with it. Like a chase to see the tribe again to understand a spider totem and it would’ve made more sense. They could also say all 3 girls in the future meet in South America somehow and are near the totem or sum

Still can't believe Ben is the actual Uncle Ben and Mary is pregnant with and gave birth to Peter Parker.
I watched it on valentines day by myself. I had a good time, enjoying my popcorn. I also saw at least 4 groups leave and not come back. Normally for any Marvel movie I will stay till end credits, I immediately looked online to check and phew none and left.
I had also debated rather or not to watch this or spider-verse that was also playing. I chose wrong lol
They literally ruined the character of Ezikiel Sims who is an important character that leads and explain the reason towards the spiderverse. He reveals much information to peter of 616 about Totems, inheritors, morlun and Silk ( the bride). He helps peter to hide so they can not find him. But instead they give a costume and kill him in the end.
It was a bad choice, and a nightmarish mess. Definitely could have swapped out for an Inheritor instead. There's your baddie
