Can Unicorn Overlord Live up to the HYPE? (Heir to Ogre Battle - Tactics Ogre)

Talking about whether I think Unicorn Overlord will live up to expectations. Is it really as good as many people are saying? Could it be even better?

I've seen a couple of videos where I guess people are trying to be tsundere or something, saying "Its okay but its not great. People are just overhyping it".
I guess they don't realize there is a demo, and most people hyping it HAVE played some of it LOL.
Yes, this game was STRONGLY inspired by Ogre Battle (Just look at the box art for that game and then this one ). Ogre Battle was one of the best army-management SRPGs ever made on consoles, and from what I have seen in the demo, this one surpasses it.
Heir to OB? Yep I think so? Great? Its amazing, and not being "overhyped" at all imo. The demo is free, so if anyone has turned any of you away by saying "Meh its okay-just overhyped" download it and see. Granted, this type of game is NOT for everyone, but anyone who liked games like fire emblem, triangle strategy, tactics ogre, or especially if you liked Ogre Battle, you will see what the hype is for VERY quickly.
I have to wonder about those calling this a "meh" strategy game, if they are shills for rival companies or something who see GOTY quite possibly slipping away from them? Thats the only thing I could think of, for those who claim to like SRPGs calling this one "meh".

Yeah it hits on that Ogre Battle nostalgia super hard in all the best ways. And actually surpasses it, not just due to surface level things that you can see like art, but also in systems. Support systems, mini-games, recruitment, there are so many cool aspects that this game brings to the table that I don't see how anyone who is a fan of the genre can call 'okay but not great'.
