Currently about to build this, I did not order the case but I think I might still grab one. I am in my mid 50s and my eyes have also got worse like yours at the same time as components have got smaller. I got a scope called Aopick 4.3 Inch cause it was about the cheapest I could find. I wasn't expecting much as I have never owned one before... but holy hell I spent most of the first day just shoving random stuff under it and when I finally shoved some of my old soldering under it I thought omg I am so bad I got to fix this, just used some black tape to hold the board in place. Strange thing is I did not shake using a scope, I guess my eyes were focusing on the screen and just not stressing or something. Not into doing videos but if I can I will let you know.

What an awesome video. You might have learned by now that little dot means auto mode. Someone realized that changing one number in the code allowed them to tune right down to 1w, I am guessing that your chip has already had it changed to 1w. Another thing I am reading is you should always tune less than 30w, but you can raise it after as long as it is under 3:1. Can't wait to build mine now, am definitely getting the case.

I am looking for build tips but everyone skips around and hardly shows the actual build. also most people seem to put the relays in first but they are in the way of everything else than I am doing the relays only after the chokes are wound and soldered in.

When I worked in automation yes the discrete components went in first, this kit was simple to build, no matter either way. Great kit so glad I bought it. If you get the case do not solder in the SMA connectors to the board.

Did you build this kit? What do you think about it?
