I actually did the muffler delete on a 2012 E350 months ago. It does gurgle every now and then too. My mechanic loves how it sound while driving it. I left the stock tips though due to it being apart of the diffuser.
Sounds really good with muffler delete than i expected like i thought that it would have sounded stock, but i really miss the old E63 amg with it's 5.5 liter engine in the W212 generation but i think the older W211 E63 generation with it's 6.2 liter engine is the best of all AMG cars to be honest
I have a 2014 and man it sucks they don't have an aftermarket muffler for these cars. First time I saw a muffler where the inlet was from the side of the muffler. The exhaust shop I'm using recommended doing a muffler delete and replace the resonator with 2 flow master FX mufflers. Giving it a try this Friday and see how it sounds. Other thought was the Super HP 2 or DBX. Just can't find anything online of other people trying the same or other ideas. Everyone seems to just remove the resonator and muffler, some puts a x pipe and that's it.
A muffler delete and straight pipe sucks for the e350. I have a 2014 also. I went thru a lot of trial and error but finally went with a custom setup. I deleted the secondary cats(the ones before the resonator) replaced the resonator with an x-pipe, added 2 FlowmasterFX dual chamber racing mufflers with 4in quad tips(changed the diffuser to a e63 style). Straight pipe will make it loud but you’ll be goin nowhere fast😂😂. 4cyl’s will be smoking you. Unfortunately the 3.5(m276 engine) needs back pressure from the mufflers to feel any type of power. At the end of the day it cost me bout $600 and that’s with the costs of the mufflers, tips, xpipe and diffuser.
@@Zacccc-m8p I tried it out with the flow master fX mufflers and actually hated it. Sounded great on startup and low speeds. But way too much drone. I ended up putting the factory exhaust back on and not messing with it any further.
I did a muffler delete and x pipe on my e350 2014 and am thinking of removing some cats. What would be better removing the primary cats the secondary or both?
you will get a check engine light if you remove the primary cats. There are sensors in place there. The secondary ones I think does not have sensors so you may be able to get away with it. Depending where you live and if there is emission standards/testing.
@@Marz78963 I’m in California I don’t think it would pass smog but if I removed the secondary ones u think I would pass it if there was no engine light or anything?
Delete secondary CATS,replace resonator with x-pipe, get some racing mufflers preferably Dual chamber mufflers. Sounds very aggressive and with some pop n bangs. And yes this is what I did to mine. Straight pipe makes it loud but it sucks. Acceleration is lost due to no mufflers
"..... You can hardly see the gap".... Are you having a laugh! You can see it from space, it looks terrible! Customise by all means.... But do it right.
Way to ruin an otherwise decent benz. Do this crap to a Japanese car or even a bmw. The w212 is designed to be a luxury sedan. Not a hot rod or sports car.
W211 right before this body style is my all time favorite, the circle headlights are just so perfectly with the Mercedes design language

how much did it cost i have the same car and would love to do it im about to turn 19 and would love to do it to my car
@@iamnobodyy_muffler deletes dont cost much
I think I would have removed the resonator too, but it does sound aggressive without being obnoxiously loud.
Removing resonators makes it extremely loud and "cackley" imo
The tips look crappy. He should have measured before he bought them. Outside of that they sound ok.
@Self Made Auto you still around here trolling man? How come you deleted all your comments on my post? Couldn’t handle the heat I suppose?
@@barackputin cool man!! Thanks for sharing

I was really expecting a unpleasant sound but WOW! That sounds perfect to me and I'm a VR6 owner.
A lot of people underestimate the awesome sound you get by leaving the resonators on vehicles and just removing the mufflers. I love it.
An aftermarket x-pipe is probably all it needs to be a lil louder and exotic sounding.
BTW, the stock resonator is already an X inside. Putting an aftermarket x-pipe just makes it raspy.
@@jjbuu3560 Not if you get one that's resonated or you can even add one. I just wish they made headers for these M276 engines.

The best one in my opinion was the 2011 W212 with the M156 6.2. Best of both worlds.
Sounds decent but he should get tips that fit
Stop it guys 🤣
1:40 when you start revving it in Los Santos customs
Sounds nice and smooth
Facts, the older benz's had character. All older cars had more character lol. everything is an ugly potato nowadays
That’s an aftermarket grill. Bought it for mine. Why that one looks so good. Not stock
My question is will it give a check engine light
On a E350 no. There are no sensors in the muffler area so wouldn't set off any CEL

How do I make my e350 w212 bluetech to sound even as close as this?

Could help but it's a diesel, so won't sound the same. But could be similar decibel wise
