example.... 4cylinder engine has 4 headers that run into 1 main pipe.... 8 cylinder has 8 headers that go 4 to 1 and 4 to 1/ or 8 :2:2 or 8:1:2 .. so each pipe is putting out the sound of 4 heads or half the motor which is dual exhaust... make sense????? now you will see 4 cylinders that have twin pipes but what happens is its really just a Y adapter that branches from the one main pipe to 2 pipes which connects after the midpipe section and usually threw a silencer and then splits to the twin pipes... like my dads accord. 4 cylinder turbo... 4:1:2 .......... now there are all different setups and custom exhausts that dont apply to what i said.. they can make pipes from a 4 cylinder and run quad tips.. which would be 4:1:4 or 4:4 ... depends on how they want it.... first number is the heads/second is how they connect/ third is how many pipes come out the back

actually its not a true AMG MODEL... BUT.... They make them with amg sport packages like a bmw 335i Mpack would have,,, not an M3 but its got extras... SAMe with the amg sport.... these cars are just as fast as the amgs with the right tune and setup. especially the biggest sleeper around (CLS 550 4.7L BITURBO 4MATIC) renntech can tune this car with upgraded intake filters or a CAI with the exhaust mod like in this video and their TUNE which makes more torque and hosepower then a HELLCAT................. 650HP 720LBS TORQUE IS WHAT YOU GET FOR $2500. I HAVE THE 17 CLS BITURBO/4 MATIC 4.7 9 SPEED WITH STOCK EVERYTHING EXCEPT FOR MY HP TUNE... I MADE 612LBS TORQUE AND 570 HP JUST FROM A TUNE BY HP TUNERS... Meedo Steven even on turbo engine? I drove the S coupe 500/550 and it from series straight piped with muffler valved at the rear. From my experience all modern turbo AMG, Audi RS, BMW M have no X or H pipes, so called “true dual”
