      Well that's very kind Andrew - it's growing veeeery slowly, but every person who views a film I've made feels like a friend well made. Besides right now I have a chance to answer every comment made. Hope you're well?

      Neale James Bit like the England Cricket team then! Great to see how well the XT2 works with the 10-24mm, gimbal free.

    Which lens you use for this video??

    • @photowalk.podcast
      @photowalk.podcast  5 років тому +1

      Hi Rahul, I give a little run down of lenses at about 7.25 in the film... but for pretty much ALL the vlogging part - it would have been the 10-24mm lens. It's not the fastest lens out there, and boy, do I wish there was a 2.8 version of it, but it's so good for general scene filming.

      Go for the XT3 I say now... you'll have some super new options for filming, and there's new tech in terms of sensor etc as you've no doubt read ;-)

    Fantastic Neale! LOVED the tepanyaki restaurant footage - couldn't wipe the smile off my face.
    So happy you got to enjoy your trip to Australia but disappointed we weren't able to meet up - looks like you and the whole family had a terrific time. Some great life (and photography) lessons you shared too. :)

      Yeh, would love to have met up, and it was a real shame our paths didn't cross either in Australia or the UK... but you can be sure of one thing... I am coming back to your lovely country as soon as I get a chance - and we are going for that cycle ride and beer! We had a great time and I was honestly really melancholic as I made my parting ferry trip across the bay before we flew home. There's a feeling that's hard to describe in that city, there really is. It felt like home. Viewing through tourist eyes is of course a different experience, but I can totally understand how my friends who have lived or live there, subscribe to its way of life. Thanks for the comment Andrew and sub.

      Another visit and a bike ride sound perfect to me. I know that feeling of leaving a great place after a terrific holiday and it's nice to hear Australia made you feel that way. You're right too, it is a special place, I feel very lucky to be able to call it home. Looking forward to seeing more videos and catching up at some stage.
