Looks like a pretty handy battery powered saw, you have there! Thanks for the comparison 👍
👍
I noticed there are two different versions. One with the kit and one without the kit. The saw that comes with the kit (shown in your video) has a smaller/shorter black battery cover. The one sold individually has a taller black battery cover. Seems like they were able to cut some costs with the kit version to offer the whole kit for an attractive price. Not sure which one i should get...
I got another one with the taller battery box because it fits the 15 amphour battery where as the lid can't close on the shorter one
Just picked one up for some interior block demo. Hoped the batteries would last a bit longer but I was impressed for sure. Those 700s are beasts of a saw. Doesn’t seem like a fair comparison! Certainly wont replace my gas saw but an awesome addition to the tool box.
The 12 and 9 amp hr batteries do pretty good.
i just bought one a week ago, its def a beast. its perfect for my paver projects . plus dont have to keep trying to get it started liek a gas oneweakness is the battery drain, and the blades are hard to find.
Excellent, glad you like it!
I’ve used these in construction to cut old pipe, rebar, and 2” thick steel. We used 2-3 DEWALTs and a stihl at a time with about 8 9ah batteries in constant circulation, which destroyed those batteries life expectancy pretty quickly. But the dewalts ate through the steel like nothing even faster then a torch, but we had to bring in the torch since we were going through soo many blades and batteries it just wasn’t as cost effective and the stihl blade is just too thick for metal.
Ya, sometimes they cost more than it's worth and adjustments have to be made
Nice little saw, just not hearing and smelling a 2-stroke is worth it… 😉
Ya definitely has a good spot now that they have enough power to do something with them.
new battery saw ideal for bricks but i tried to cut concrete lintel just wouldnt cut it ..
Ya long cuts like saw cutting concrete, it gobbles up the battery, I cut a concrete slab had approx 120 feet to cut 1-1/4 ish deep used 4 of the 9 amp hour batteries
12ah batteries a must. Can’t wait to get the 15ah for the saw.
and how much dewalt is paying you?..just kidding man..btw, at first I thought you were the one cutting, then I saw your your hand with your iconic glove on. I watched without sound cause it's almost 5am here
I wish, it's not a sponsor, it's just my honest opinion, Amazon might give me a dollar if someone buys it through my link, not worth anything really
@@SolidworksUnlimited sorry man, it's a bad joke..I feel your, what's the word..disappoinment..
Naw it's all good, you good man, someday they might sponsor me but I have to have alot more subscribers before they will consider doing it.
Would be nice actually lol
@@SolidworksUnlimited I wish you all the best..your works are amazing
А резак от Milwaukee ?
Music at end way too loud
Deepest apologies!!
Perhaps we might reconsider .....if my body could tolerate the effort and time it took to start that 700 you still have to add the time it took to start the 700 to the time the 700 was cutting in order to make an accurate comparison! THEN we notice the battery powered took less time! Plus my body took ZERO abuse from that treacherous starter cord. I do not love or hate battery or gas. I do prefer not to abuse my body anymore though. Since you have concluded your gas one is BETTER .....send the battery one to me pull on that rope baby.
Lol 1000 bucks
What is the price?
Here's the link comes with 2 batteries and charger

Gas will always win. But battery power is wayyy more convenient
That Stihl ts 700, even at 20% throttle that you were holding it at, cut waaaay faster than the crappy DeWalt
