Only in a sense did it come true. Eavesdropping is a rogue spell, and since rogues have no secrets, we can assume you discover a secret from the entire pool of secrets. This gives even more diversity. With Hydrologist, it's just paladin secrets. Regardless, I'm still fairly happy blizzard released Hydrologist.
Halfway through you begin to think this is an actual card reveal, feeling a new urgency to play Hearthstone, but as you reach the final card your excitement comes crashing down when reality hits you...my reaction process every single time Kripp does these videos!
It's really nice to see how Kripp's face lights up with some of these cards, almost like a little kid. It shows how fucking boring real hearthstone has become. Just compare his face at 9:15 with his face reviewing any of the un'goro cards revealed so far. Well, that's exactly how i feel too.
If I had 3 wishes, where I can't wish for more wishes, I would wish that that rule only applied to the word "wish", then I would wish that the word wish would change to the word "sheponk", then I would sheponk of infinite sheponks
Keep in mind, the cards you see here have gone through several comunity filters, and then also through kripp. so you only see the best of the best. meanwhile, there are thousands upon thousands of mediocre, shitty community made cards out there
To be fair, four of those cards are made by the same person. Sometimes, one single competent designer can get you quite far. Apparently he left a comment here under the username nanophreak btw. And Duel Masters rocks. @Alcadeias90
3:29 I really like the design of this card. The thing with secrets is that you can always tell which class it belongs to due to the cost. It's a random effect that gives the opponent a reasonably limited pool of cards to play around, while still keeping the choice innate of discover mechanics. More importantly, it actually gives your opponent the opportunity to play around it, as secrets do not activate immediately. Granted this card would never actually be played, but I think it's a really cool design.
That Fishing Bobber really got my attention. Rather than it be a 0 mana 0/1 minion, it should just be a spell (maybe 3~5 or 3 overload 1) that turns your hero power into "2 Mana, add a random murloc to your hand." I'd love to see the page on this card and hear the notes on it's creation and critiques by the community. Murloc Shaman has never really been a thing but more Neptulon-like cards/effects might make it a reality.
Imp-oster sounds like it would be an awesome card lol, the shock value from having it disguise itself as the opponents Reno only to have them ping themselves in the face possibly dying would be hilarious, I could hear Ben Brode laughing in the distance when it'd happen
great video. as much as i love the Kripp salt fest, it's great to highlight some creativity/ fun in card design and visually see how much happier he is talking about these ideas
Hello, I'm the guy that made Tragic Hero, Obliteration Ball, Fel Fissure, and Royal Flush. Kripp-senpai has officially noticed me, uguu~ Can I put this on my resume when applying to Blizzard?
"This looks like an okay candidate to replace Ben Brode during his vacation. Nice cards! But who is this former employer Kripp he's referring to?" "Kripp's that Romanian salt baron." "Oh, never mind." *Ripped in pieces*
Here is my card: 1 mana legendary Quest that always start in your hand. Quest: Listen to 3 full death metal songs. Reward: Chuck Corpsegrinder. Chuck Corpsegrinder : 1 mana 1/1 permanent. Change in game music to death metal. When your hero is dealt lethal damage your hero mosh the enemy hero to create a tie.
Kripp: 'We dont want anymore RNG cards in this game come on blizzard' Kripp again: 'I love this 50% chance Ogre mechanic, its so awesome hope they make more cards like these'
Did he already highlight BareKnuckle Beatdown in an earlier vid? I think that card is awesome. Warrior spell, 3 mana I think: "If you have no weapons in your deck or hand, and have no weapon equipped gain +2 attack for the rest of the game". Awesome card
Legendary Card: Kaibarino Kripperino Attack: 0 Cost: 3 Health: 30 Battlecry: Replace your Hero with this one. Heropower: Summon a 1/1 Kripparrian Effect: Crazy RNG Audio: Screw the Rules, i have Money Kripparrian 1 Mana 1/1 Effekt: Your Dragons Cost 1 less Mana next turn Audio: Hey Guys how's it going, Kripparrian here
My idea for a card Arcane preparations: 7 mana Mage spell. See 3 cards and choose two. The first card you pick will activate at the start of your next turn, the second card you pick will activate on the turn after that in the same manner Cards available: Arcane Strike: Deal 5 damage to the enemy hero Rain magic!: Deal 3 damage to all enemy minions Magical shock: Deal 5 damage to a minion -let me know what you think, and if you disagree with part of it, lemme know how you would fix it~- Also, for the lols, 2nd card idea 0 cost rouge card: Return baggage: Put a millhouse manastorm into your opponents deck.
I really liked so many of these cards; especially the ones that encourage class identity without forcing you to play specific cards that the Hearthstone Devs roll out every expansion (like you said Jade, Discard, Dragon etc.), instead as you mentioned the Sylvanas card ties in perfectly to a playstyle that is associated with hunter rather than a card with tribal tags and such that only give synergistic value between the cards themselves and leaves the player no room to add their own creativity and sometimes much less their skill (aka printing cards with ridiculous stats).
so it is a worse eerie statue (4 mana 7/7 can only attack if it is the only minion)? since eerie statue is harder to remove (minions take 7 damage when attacking it) and it also has some chance of attacking without being silenced (though it is a really low chance)
This is basically a card that exists for another game but one i'd love to see in HS. Elusive Schemer 4 mana 4/1 Rogue card Battlecry: Draw a card Deathrattle: Shuffle a 0 cost Elusive Schemer into your deck.
Portable Firespitter (2/2 Mech for 5). Deathrattle: Add a Fireball to your hand. Supplication (Paladin Secret): Whenever a friendly minion dies, draw 2 cards. Armor Shredder (3/2 Rogue Weapon for 3). Battlecry: All minions lose Taunt. Capacitor Totem (0/1 Shaman Totem for 3). inspire: Gain +1 Health. As the end of your turn, deal damage to the enemy Hero equal to this minion's Health. Eye of Kilrogg (3/7 Warlock Demon for 5): Your opponent cannot play Secrets. Counter Shot (Hunter Secret): When a spell targets your Hero, counter it. Holy Word: Chastise (Priest Spell for 3): Choose an enemy minion. Deal its Attack as damage to all other enemies. Celestial Alignment (Druid Spell for 3): Choose One: Deal 6 damage or Restore 6 Health. Time Warp (Mage Spell for 10): Take an extra turn after this one. Shield Wall (0/10 Warrior minon for 4). Taunt. Your Hero Power generates 1 extra Armor.
Some time ago I had this idea for a card: Mystic Shot Marksman [minion] 6 mana/4 ATK/5 HP Battlecry: Cast a copy of a random spell in your deck that costs 5 or less (targets chosen normally). Deathrattle: Add a copy of the cast spell to your hand.
Honestly I forgot Krul even existed as a card, a legendary even. I've literally only seen it played once and I think it was a random effect on Kripps part
Ok... I just got rekt at 9:05 year ago I created a warrior card called Boulder (gigart round rock like from indiana jones) and the idea was it deals 1 dmg left to right and deals 1 more dmg to next creature, so : if your opponent has 2 minions it only deals 1dmg to 1st and 2 to 2nd. but if enemy has a full board it deals 7dmg to the 7th, 6 to 6th... and so on... well... i see someone got the same idea. I love it either way since I think POSITIONING is most unused mechanic that requires real thinking and I hope to see it more.
Fantastic user cards, way more original then what we get unfortunately. I really like Ranger General Sylvanas,Acid Rain among others. I have been thinking about this since WOTOG release what you said @10:55 Is spot on! I don't like the trend blizzard has started with auto include cards and synergies like C'thun and Jade and not letting us experiment with deckbuilding (good and viable decks) by making original cards which they rarely do. *Here's hoping the rest of the set has these kinds of cards
Looks like Abondond became Treachery. At 3 mana the use is kind if limited, but I've been trying to make a Bittertide Hydra+Treachery+Kara Kazham!+Defile combo work with somewhat success.
Imp-oster could be so good. Imagine if it took the place of a really important card: you drop Aviana, play Kun and find out it's a Flame Imp or you try to go Brann - Kazakus but the Kazakus was actually a Flame Imp and you take six to face instead. There are so many situations where it could just ruin your entire turn. I'd kind of like to see it become a thing.
Some of these are so cool I wish they were real, and overall they seemed pretty in line with expected mana costs/stats/effects. The community creativity in full force here.
I don't know, but a way to test a similar case is to have Brann on the board from a previous turn and play injured blademaster into a snipe. Secrets trigger after battlecries, so it's basically a 0 health minion. I think it wouldn't, because spells tend to ignore minions that are flagged as dead or dying, like how arcane missiles won't overkill a minion.
imp-poster would kinda be better as "replace a minion in your opponents deck with flame imp". that would really throw a wrench in OTK decks (which would help the control warlock a lot) but might be a little OP
my prefered were the ogre ones the discover a secret rogue one and this sylvanas i love sylvanas and using the same stats and cost but such a bigger diference in the effect is amazing, speacilly what kripp said, or you dont lose health and play nothing or you just push for the minions but enters hunter's danger zone, loved it, the type of card you should learn how to deal with and how to use it at the right time
Fel fissure interests me. If you use it on a minion between two other minions and it kills it would the two minions that then squeeze together to fill the space both take 4 damage? in that case its sort of like explosive shot but a bit better but needs more requirements to get it off. I think this is an extremely balanced card that would fit into hearthstone and not be played at all. But picked in arena someitmes.
These cards are:
0:42 Abandon: 1-cost Warlock Epic spell: Give an allied minion to your opponent.
1:23 Negligent Doctor: 4 mana 7/7, Priest Common: Shuffle a Medical License into your deck. You can't use Hero Power until it's drawn.
2:20 Fishing Bobber: 0 mana 0-1 Shaman Rare: Inspire: Return this minion to your hand and add a random Murloc to your hand.
2:57 The Light Shall Burn You: 6 mana Priest Epic Spell: Deal 0-10 damages. Deal the same amount of damage split randomly to ALL characters.
3:25 Eavesdropping: 1 mana Rogue Rare Spell: Discover a secret.
3:55 Acid Rain: 3 mana Hunter Common Spell: This turn whenever a minion takes damage, destroy it.
4:25 Jaraxxus Park: 3 mana Warlock Rare Spell: For each demon in your hand, summon a 1/1 Devilsaur with charge.
4:57 Fel Fissure: 5 mana Warlock Rare Spell: Deal 4 damage to a minion. If it is killed, mark where it has been. The next minion enters that position takes 4 damage.

6:40 Orge Intellect: 2 mana Mage Rare Spell: Draw 2 cards, each card has 50% chance to turn into an Orge Intellect.
7:02 The Headless Horseman: 6 mana 4/8 Neutral Legendary: Taunt, Deathrattle: Show up as one ofnthe choices in your next Discover.
8:06 Tragic Hero: 4 mana 8/0 Neutral Rare: Deathrattle: Summon a 4/5 Hero's Apprentice.
9:01 Obliteration Balls: 4 mana Mage Rare Spell: Deal 1 damage to each enemy minion, left to right. Gain +1 Spell Damage for each minion killed.
9:43 Riot Guard Durn: 3 mana 2/5 Neutral Legendary: Taunt. If your opponent summons three or more minions during a turn, summon it from your deck.
10:23 Anaramax: 6 mana 6/5 Paladin Legendary: At the beginning of the game, if you have no spells, set your hero's health to 40.
11:14 Imp-oster: 3 mana Warlock Epic Spell: Shuffle a Flame Imp into your opponent's deck, it appears as another minion until it is played.
12:00 Royal Flush: 4 mana Rogue Epic Spell: Draw one card of each rarity, if you aren't holding a card of that rarity yet.
12:32 Entombsayer: 2 mana 0/7 Priest Epic: At the start of your turn, shuffle all minions into their opponent's decks.
13:03 Petrify: 2 mana Priest Rare Spell: Transfer a minion's attack to its health and give it Taunt.
13:13 I know a Spell: 1 mana Mage Common Spell: Discover a Spell, 50% of chance get the wrong Spell.
13:27 Ranger-Genreal Sylvanas: 6 mana 5/5 Hunter Legendary: Battlecry: your opponent's minions cost health instead of mana next turn.
YOU'RE WELCOME.
Update: Eavesdropping actually comes true lol. New Paladin card Hydrologist revealed! It's a 2 mana 2/2 common murloc, Battlecry Discover a Secret.

Lol Abandon got turned into a real card, treachery
2:59 One of your subs made that card, and it's not a Kripperino/oni, disappointment...
"We don't need rng"
"I love the ogre effect"
Cognitive dissonance at work
Halfway through you begin to think this is an actual card reveal, feeling a new urgency to play Hearthstone, but as you reach the final card your excitement comes crashing down when reality hits you...my reaction process every single time Kripp does these videos!
I wish I had Kripp's game knowledge, he is a very intelligent lad.
Straight to the dustbineriono.
It's a shame, have a nice day, friend
Complimenterino Kripperino can you compliment my profile picture?
It's really nice to see how Kripp's face lights up with some of these cards, almost like a little kid. It shows how fucking boring real hearthstone has become. Just compare his face at 9:15 with his face reviewing any of the un'goro cards revealed so far. Well, that's exactly how i feel too.
Hearthstone was always boring.

Well now you've sullied it, hope you're happy.
Faceswaperino Kripperino I
Faceswaperino Kripperino His name is New Carderino
Why is it that user created cards are generally better (and somehow even more balanced) than a lot of actual Blizzard cards?
hello Mathmachine, your deck is bad
But these cards are too confusing!
your deck is really crappy man
Keep in mind, the cards you see here have gone through several comunity filters, and then also through kripp. so you only see the best of the best. meanwhile, there are thousands upon thousands of mediocre, shitty community made cards out there
To be fair, four of those cards are made by the same person. Sometimes, one single competent designer can get you quite far. Apparently he left a comment here under the username nanophreak btw.

How about a user-created card that causes noobs to fuck me up in Arena?
it's called kabal talon-priest
Fuck you up, or fuck you?
Tholyn both
3:37 they sort of added this in Ungoro. They made a 2 mana 2/2 paladin card which discovers a secret
Alexandre Margery that's why I said they sort of added it, instead of saying they did add it
That Fishing Bobber really got my attention.
Rather than it be a 0 mana 0/1 minion, it should just be a spell (maybe 3~5 or 3 overload 1) that turns your hero power into "2 Mana, add a random murloc to your hand." Murloc Shaman has never really been a thing but more Neptulon-like cards/effects might make it a reality.
Abandon is a great card, whenever you play against Jades, you can give them shit to end our misery quicker.
Just one shaman card ...
Forgot it was best user-created cards for a second and started to get interested in the new expansion. :(
Imp-oster sounds like it would be an awesome card lol, the shock value from having it disguise itself as the opponents Reno only to have them ping themselves in the face possibly dying would be hilarious, I could hear Ben Brode laughing in the distance when it'd happen
great video. as much as i love the Kripp salt fest, it's great to highlight some creativity/ fun in card design and visually see how much happier he is talking about these ideas
These cards instead of Meanstreets of Gatgezan would make HS great again!
WE want more do 1-50 damage random effects
these all cards shows that how much potential hearthstone has
Hello, I'm the guy that made Tragic Hero, Obliteration Ball, Fel Fissure, and Royal Flush. Kripp-senpai has officially noticed me, uguu~ Can I put this on my resume when applying to Blizzard?
Great ideas, sir! Keep up the good work in the forums
"This looks like an okay candidate to replace Ben Brode during his vacation. Nice cards! But who is this former employer Kripp he's referring to?"
"Kripp's that Romanian salt baron."
"Oh, never mind."
*Ripped in pieces*
Of course not. Blizzard hates good card design, and these are great designs
Jian Ling Lim: just what I wanted to say
There is more to game design than creating fun and interesting cards
Last time I was this early there was no Kripperoni Kripperino War. 😭
Itsa sad time. I think i'm gonna frosbolt myself and end it all.
Teacherino For Kripperinos Kripperino THEN YOU WERE TOO SOON!
Definitely my favorite of all your recurring mini series, by far
I just played Gwent and it was really fun. Sign up for the Beta today to have your chance to enter the fun!
Kripp: 'We dont want anymore RNG cards in this game come on blizzard'
Kripp again: 'I love this 50% chance Ogre mechanic, its so awesome hope they make more cards like these'
15:13
HOW DID YOU DO THIS 15 SECONDS AFTER THE FUCKING VIDEO WAS POSTED WHAT?
Neptune It's a bot
Skipperino IS kripperino *mind-blown*
SHARP it's actually not, he's often late haha
Isn't it more accurately at 14:53, I don't think the outro should count as Krip
the abandon effect is now used in kotft
I think what this game really needs are more 1 mana 2/1s.
Onironi Kripperonin 1 mana 2/3 with "gains divine shield when it attacks"
I think it's finally time for 1 mana 3\4s.
Slap Overload (0) on that and we're good.
How about 0 Mana 10/10 with Charge, that get's bounced back to your Hand after it attacked?
Legendary Murloc. 1 mana
1/1 stealth
Instead of Drawing a card, Discover a murloc
Did he already highlight BareKnuckle Beatdown in an earlier vid? I think that card is awesome.
Warrior spell, 3 mana I think: "If you have no weapons in your deck or hand, and have no weapon equipped gain +2 attack for the rest of the game". Awesome card
It still blew my mind when he commented on all the kripperinos. Probably the funniest pre-video talk from the Kripp.
iam really impressed that at least one youtuber i know manages to produce awesome videos that will never get boring and dont spam ads in his videos
Always bittersweet to watch these episodes.
"Some people just want to see some serious bullshit"
That is why I watch your videos
Legendary
Card: Kaibarino Kripperino Attack: 0
Cost: 3 Health: 30
Battlecry: Replace your Hero with this one. Heropower: Summon a 1/1 Kripparrian Effect: Crazy RNG
Audio: Screw the Rules, i have Money
Kripparrian
1 Mana 1/1
Effekt: Your Dragons Cost 1 less Mana next turn
Audio: Hey Guys how's it going, Kripparrian here
these videos are some of my favorite the kripp makes
These are fantastic. I especially love Imp-oster and Obliteration Ball - brilliant ideas.
That Petrify card is so elegant, hope blizzard uses it.
Legends say that Kripp manages all the Kripperinos...
eavesdropping is really flavourful, id like more cards like these
Omg I love the Eavesdropping concept "A rogue stealthy listening to some guys speaking out some >secrets< with their mates"
My idea for a card
Arcane preparations: 7 mana Mage spell. See 3 cards and choose two. The first card you pick will activate at the start of your next turn, the second card you pick will activate on the turn after that in the same manner
Cards available:
Arcane Strike: Deal 5 damage to the enemy hero
Rain magic!: Deal 3 damage to all enemy minions
Magical shock: Deal 5 damage to a minion
-let me know what you think, and if you disagree with part of it, lemme know how you would fix it~-
Also, for the lols, 2nd card idea
0 cost rouge card: Return baggage: Put a millhouse manastorm into your opponents deck.
Maybe done before but came up with this.
Retired champion
priest 4mana 7/7 battlecry: Set this minions attack to 0
Charma would probably have to have taunt. That way it justifies the inclusion of a silence card used on your own minion
so it is a worse eerie statue (4 mana 7/7 can only attack if it is the only minion)? since eerie statue is harder to remove (minions take 7 damage when attacking it) and it also has some chance of attacking without being silenced (though it is a really low chance)
I'd say better since you get it fully back from ressurrect
If it had taunt as well it might be interesting.
It's not delivery, its Riperoni.
7:34 card is good combo with that new expansion spell which got your deck full of 1 mana discover spells
Tragic Hero is one of the coolest cards I've ever seen.
This is basically a card that exists for another game but one i'd love to see in HS.
Elusive Schemer
4 mana 4/1 Rogue card
Battlecry: Draw a card
Deathrattle: Shuffle a 0 cost Elusive Schemer into your deck.
7:20 i know this has been said already on the hearthstone reddit but what happens when you play finley after the horseman dies?
Some of these cards are themed so well. Especially eavesdrop and headless horseman.
Kripp has the #1 chat of any channel. You guys are all mememeisters.
Some time ago I had this idea for a card:
Mystic Shot Marksman [minion]
6 mana/4 ATK/5 HP
Battlecry: Cast a copy of a random spell in your deck that costs 5 or less (targets chosen normally). Deathrattle: Add a copy of the cast spell to your hand.
the art for acid rain is that same for the MTG card toxic deluge
Yea. People just get the artwork from other games lol... they're not made by blizzard
Royal Flush is one of my favourites here, cards that are specific are always great
Entombsayer 12:46 is brilliant
Honestly I forgot Krul even existed as a card, a legendary even. I've literally only seen it played once and I think it was a random effect on Kripps part
Same lol
I loved most of these cards. They really seem like they could be a blast to play.
Imposter 11:40 should more specifically show up as an epic or legendary minion that is in the deck but hasn't been drawn yet
I don't just watch the videos, I love coming to the comment section just to look for the types of kripparinos.
These cards make me more excited than the last three HS expantions together.
I just realised that the first card is actually gonna happen in the newest expansion wow
Omg Abandon has a really epic combo when you run Fel Reaver, since it will discard the opponents top 3 cards after spell cast.
3:25
We're getting a discover a secret card in Un'Goro. Pretty sweet huh?
Did somebody say, Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker?
I'm pretty sure i heard [Thunderfury, blessed blade of the windseeker]
Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseekerino Kripperino I think someone was asking for [Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker]
Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseekerino Kripperino but what about the [Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker]?
I especially loved that Sylvanas card!
I wish blizzard would put out a community made expansion where we could all vote on what cards should be put in it that would be awesome
The slice of life
4:01 that's Toxic Deluge, lol
Imp-oster could be so good. Imagine if it took the place of a really important card: you drop Aviana, play Kun and find out it's a Flame Imp or you try to go Brann - Kazakus but the Kazakus was actually a Flame Imp and you take six to face instead. There are so many situations where it could just ruin your entire turn.
I'd kind of like to see it become a thing.
You should do more of these kripp!
Some of these are so cool I wish they were real, and overall they seemed pretty in line with expected mana costs/stats/effects. The community creativity in full force here.
Obliteration Ball is such a cool idea. The animation would be epic.
8:50 Does a 0 health minion trigger stuff like Snipe tho?
I don't know, but a way to test a similar case is to have Brann on the board from a previous turn and play injured blademaster into a snipe. Secrets trigger after battlecries, so it's basically a 0 health minion. I think it wouldn't, because spells tend to ignore minions that are flagged as dead or dying, like how arcane missiles won't overkill a minion.
Riot Guard Durn was a really interesting concept.
that sylv is a really sweet card that I absolutely would love to see in the game
imp-poster would kinda be better as "replace a minion in your opponents deck with flame imp". that would really throw a wrench in OTK decks (which would help the control warlock a lot) but might be a little OP
these have been the best sofar - daaaaamn crazy good ideas
That last card is amazing!
"Ranger-general Sylvanas: If the opponent kills this minion with an undead minion, summon Sylvanas for your opponent."
Just realized defile is better obliteration ball!
If Durn was a 2/4 with no taunt but had a ghoul effect when it was pulled from the deck, it'd be my favorite user card ever.
my prefered were the ogre ones
the discover a secret rogue one
and this sylvanas
i love sylvanas and using the same stats and cost but such a bigger diference in the effect is amazing, speacilly what kripp said, or you dont lose health and play nothing or you just push for the minions but enters hunter's danger zone, loved it, the type of card you should learn how to deal with and how to use it at the right time
Kripp called my card 'Nice!', my day has been made.
Which one was your card?
Cantplayanything Petrify
I really enjoyed this. More videos like this pleeeeze
For IMP-oster personally I would have made it shuffle 2 disguised Flame Imp's into the enemies deck for the 3 mana cost but to each his own i guess.
What about the spell that mark the certain position and give the next card on that position a buff or debuff
i really like these cards too but i think a couple of them would need a bit of a buff like no paladin spells have to start at like 60 health.
At 4:24 you hear a mouse click IMPERFECTION SPOTTED
If all these cards existed I feel like Hearthstone would be so much better just from that.
