Sir is the GOAT of online maths , i am so grateful.
Greetings sir.it's me again.I'm studying edexcel 9-1 higher tier maths and I'm a bit at a crossroads on how and what to revise.absolutely no structure to my revision whatsoever.btw your doing a stellar job .a massive aid to all students doing maths😉
Warrington Wolves Personally I would get yourself a revision guide, this will structure topics for you, alongside that I have also put a checklist together that you can find here: www.thegcsemathstutor.co.uk/uploads/4/4/2/3/44232537/gcse_maths_topic_checklist.pdf from there I would use the guide for some order and a general overview, the checklist to identify what you have/haven’t done and then the videos and playlists on this channel to access a tutorial and practice questions! Hope this helps 😁🙏🏼🙏🏼
thanks for the help really helping me leading up to my upcoming mocks. Appreciate this
Thanks for this great content keep it up sir 👍
No problem at all! 😁🙏🏼

Just wanted to let you know that you've got "Solving Quadratics by Completing the Square | Grade 9 Series | GCSE Maths Tutor" twice in the playlist as numbers 41 and 42
Mina Haq Thanks for letting me know it should be fixed now 😁🙏🏼
having another term is hard but i seem to understand now as i got most questions correct.....thanks for breaking down complex things !!!

Hello. It's me again. Just wanted to let you know that i am very grateful for your videos. I was very ''iffy'' on Completing the Square but now i'm quite good at it even if i do say so myself. Anyway i think you should have tons more subs because let's be honest here, you should have MINIMUM 25K subs currently.
Should have more than 166k

3:38 I don't understand why he flipped the sign for the turning point, can anyone help me with this?
For the x coordinate from square form to coordinates it's supposed to be (-x, y) then you substitute the numbers in
How would you know if the question was completing the square? For quadratic formula would it tell you to give to ... decimal point or significant figures
thank you so much for this video!! it really helped :)
jem lena Great to hear! 😁🙏🏼

Thanks for sharing! I posted a video on completing the square using remainder theorem. Hope to get your opinion on it.
thanks
My pleasure! 😁🙏🏼
Very helpful. I hope you get a lot of rewards from God for helping people to succeed in life.
Knowing it’s helping students is reward enough for me but thank you so much for the kind words 😁🙏🏼🙏🏼

10:47 Can I use the quadratic formula for the second part? (-b±√(b²-4ac))/(2a)
No not really as it would give you decimals you want it in the form the question has given you.
thank yoy so much I did this ages ago but forgot how to do it so this helped

what if the co-effecient of x is 3 or 4?
Same thing just factorise it.
Great video sir well explained!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH I LOVE YOU!!!

for 11:18 i used the quadratic formula to get the answer would i still ger full marks or do i have to do it using completing the square?
That’s fine!!! Another great method 😁🙏🏼
you are amazing sir nice video helped me a lot
Thank you so so much I was struggling with this as it is a new concept to me, this really helped and you explain very well

is it just me or can I hear a piano in the back💀💀💀💀💀💀
I can hear it too
How would you do this in reverse?
Yes it has helped a lot.printed the sheet ordered a cgp guide and felt a bit happier. Sorry for the hassle but any particular playlists you would recommend?
Warrington Wolves Perfect!!!! Great start getting yourself organised, I would start with the crossover playlist here: ua-cam.com/play/PLqxP5EuGxPnfJMFKejO1mR00HafmzKW6P.html watch the first video for an overview of all of the included topics, it’s a long one but should save you hours on topics that you are already comfortable with, once you are happy with everything on that playlist you can move onto the 6-9 playlist here: ua-cam.com/play/PLqxP5EuGxPncabt7LxLs_KYkM_4Yf02cF.html and just repeat the process!! Some you might be able to skip through pretty quickly it’s all about identifying the bits you’re not as comfortable with and making them a focal point and repeat and revisit until you are happy with them! 😁🙏🏼🙏🏼
Thanks.looking forward to using this channel as an integral part of maths.cheers 🍺
Warrington Wolves Great to hear it! Glad to help 😁🙏🏼
How do we know whether we should solve a quadratic by completing the square or by using the quadratic formula?
If questions asked u to give ur answers by sig fig or decimal places then u get the idea u have to use the :
Quadratics formula
thank you so much😭🙏🏾
Oh
Oh
Thank you.
No problem at all! 😁🙏🏼
Would this be in a cal paper or non cal paper
Non calc
Sir if a quadratic does factorise, can we still use this method or would it be wrong? 9:17 Thanks sir, amazing work :)
XxUniquecornxX Absolutely you can!! You can use this method whenever you want it’s just another method that also works for quadratics that don’t factorise 😁🙏🏼
are these higher or foundation?
