Fun fact: this movie set a new world record for the most car rolls in a scene, beating Casino Royale
And the guy who did it, Logan, is the one dressed like Ryan who helps Ryan out of the car after the role.
Sad that this film hasn’t been making a lot in theaters cause this film was the most funniest and entertaining movie I seen all year. Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt had amazing chemistry, the soundtrack was 🔥❤️, the action was great, and it was a simple and enjoyable movie that I hope to see more of moving forward.
Achara: I want to be someone's sexy bacon
Jaby : 👀
@@kevinkleinsasser9387 same made me remember that one video he posted then deleted oop
@@tiffanykim2773OK. U can't say things like that and...stop. SPILL THE TEA.
PLEASE!!!!!
I don’t know what video @tiffanykim2773 is referring to…but Jaby has once made a video about how he can’t marry Achara. And Achara was sitting with him in the said video clueless about what it was going to be about. Pretty awkward situation. And probably not the best idea by Jaby😅. But people have been shipping these two forever and Jaby just addressed that.
P.S. Jaby basically said that Achara is too good for him or something like that.
It’s Ryan Goslings world, we’re just living in it!
the first stunt he did do himself, hes wearing the sunglasses cause otherwise you'd see the fear in his eyes hahah also he said he tried to do a lot of his own stunts but obviously he also had amazing stunt doubles as well
I watched the tv series (1981-1986) as an kid.
from Glen A. Larson; creator of so many other classics like Battlestar Galactica, Knight Rider and Magnum P.I.
I first heard about an adaption over a decade ago with Dwayne Johnson involved and I thought it was never going to happen.
The first trailer was mind-blowing and i was all in.
Pretty much a movie within a movie with slight realism.
Good cast, Ryan Gosling (Colt) & Emily Blunt (Jody) have great chemistry.
I can't believe they even had the same GMC pick up truck from the show, so happy.
The story is as high-powered as it's hilarious and not just a tv series becoming a film.
Stuntwork during the filmmaking sequences and action sequences of the core story are as phenomenal as imagined.
A much-needed love letter to the stunt industry itself and how much it's given to blockbuster films.
Passion project for dir. Leitch who came from that side of Hollywood.
A Guinness World Record was set for the most cannon rolls performed in a car while making this movie (beach driving sequence).
Seeing Lee Majors & Heather Thomas (the og Colt & Jody) in this made me spaz the f*** out.
The Unknown Stuntman (Fall Guy theme) by Blake Shelton was sung by Majors himself for the tv series.
Despite the box office, this was a good movie and a good start to the summer of 2024.
Interesting bit of trivia about the helicopter fall stunt.
The guy who’s doubling for Goslin in that scene, his father was a longtime veteran stuntman who was invited to the set to watch his son preform his first ever stunt fall in honour of his father.
I loved the editor making the split frame with Jaby and Achara during the phone scene 18:34. And the glance from Jaby👀
I went into this movie knowing I would love it. BUT OMG I didn't expect to love it THIS much! This is exactly the type of movie I love with the amount of action I love. It was an awesome love letter to all the stunt men. So glad I got to see it in theaters
Original show with Lee Majors was 🔥
Yeah, I was glad we got a version of the song. The original Colt and Jodi actors too, even if they are totally plastic. Show was actually inspired by the song.
I really didn't like the TV show and I didn't even like "55 Million Dollar Man".
@Jaby I Appreciate you finding a way to including more scenes in this re-upload, more fun for us ✌️
At the end that was Lee Majors aka the OG Fall Guy from the TV series, but to me he will always be the Six Million Dollar Man, the greatest show ever growing up!
The older stuntman movie was Hooper with Burt Reynolds (a former stuntman) and Sally Field. The director, Hal Needham, started as a stunt coordinator where he met Reynolds.
Just so you know... the tens unit he is using on his back in the beginning, works really good. Been using mine for over a decade.
Thanks for saving me from the deja vous feeling with the description! Excited to give the new edit a watch!
Ryan and Emily have an amazing and fantastic chemistry‼️ The dog was very cool!!
Saw it the first time you did it but here is my THANKS comment again!!!!
If you’re debating on buying a TENS device for your back….do it! I screwed my back up when i was younger and my TENS unit is a godsend.
I get a chuckle out of them using Jan Hammers synth filled "Crocket Theme (opening theme for the "Miami Vice" tv series), for the initial boat chase scene...
Nice little callback and easter egg.😊
It’s 2’o clock at night here , and i m going to sleep i hope this this stays up in the morning🤞🏻
This is a proper action comedy and we waited a long time for it. We need more of this ASAP.
I grew up on the original show in the 80s. I still love it to this day. It was about a stuntman who moonlit as a bounty hunter to make extra money, he accomplices was his nephew, Howie, and protege, Jody. At the end, yes, that was Lee Majors and Heather Thomas (Colt and Jody) from the original show. Lee Majors was a real stuntman who became a star. I like this remake, though I feel some type of way by them making Jody the love interest, lol, in the original she was like his daughter, as he was way older than her and her mentor. But that's Hollywood and Ryan is almost same age as Blunt.
This movie is so needed, a lot of movies that are coming out take themselves so seriously (or too unseriously) and this was just great
Gosling did do the first stunt (the oner) and talked about his total fear of it on Colbert, I think. That guy at the end is Lee Majors star of the TV show The Fall Guy (also sang the theme song.) He also played Col. Steve Austin in the TV show The Bionic Man (some of the sound effects of which you hear during the movie, like when Gosling jumps from the dumpster to the bar on the back of the truck. Great movie all around. 😁
I figured copyright issues may have had something to do with why this was taken down before. Thanks for putting it back up. I'm glad you two dug this movie. Although, I'm surprised you didn't see it in theaters. It's one of my favorites of the year so far. I can't figure out why it's not doing well. Achara pointed out exactly why it should be with how it satisfies both action fans and romcom fans. It should be crushing at the box office. Gosling and Blunt are perfect together too. I've heard the complaint about the runtime from a few people and I don't get that. It's barely over 2 hours and 20+ minutes were already removed as it is. What else would you cut? Personally, I wouldn't cut anything. I can't imagine whatever it is would hurt the film if it was left in. I need to see that extended version and see for myself, I guess. And yes, I'd also love to see Metalstorm if it got made into a real movie. I'm digging the whole Mad Max meets Independence Day vibe.
I was shocked by its underperformance as well cause this film was pure fun and should’ve made way more.
@@jarekmiller4337 Movies from old TV shows usually don't do well, but I was hoping this would be one of the exceptions. I hope it finds more of an audience on blue ray and streaming because I really want that sequel.
I was watching this a few days ago, didn't finish it and it disappeared then. Glad it's back online
I believe the movie from the 80s you were referring to was 'The Stuntman' - Peter O'Toole Was in it.
Also, yes - the gentleman at the end (telling the agent to StHU) Was indeed from the original show - His name is Lee Major & he was also 'the Bionic Man' from that TV series.
Cool Reaction video BTW 👍
The cop at the end is Lee Majors actor from The Fall Guy and The Bionic Man TV series, and they put the bionic sound effect in the fight scene to
At the end, your are right about who played the cops, the original Fall Guy tv show. Lee Majors, who also was the bionic man I must say, lol. And the woman , I believe anyways, was Heather Thomas, also in the Fall Guy and every boy/man's heart throb. I used to have her poster as a kid. 😆
David Leitch should direct TRANSFORMERS
That’s the original FallGuy, Lee Majors!
Ryan did the oner at the start. He wore sunglasses to hide his film. He also did do the stunt of being dragged across the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
There were 4 stunt people for Ryan including the person you knew who played Henry. They tried to do a lot of stunts practically. The stunt team did a lot of press interviews with Ryan and Emily plus did stunts at the premieres
Love the Easter eggs like the 87North logo on the stunt crew outfits, the Fall Guy’s stunt designer Chris O’Herra being in the shot talking to Colt (the oner at the start), the original Fall Guy cast (end credit scene), 6000 million dollars man sound.
Until I read the description, I thought I had deja-vu about seeing this already.
Late comment, but yeah, TENS devices (the little round things on his back at the start of the movie) are really good for temporary muacle pain relief. I have chronic pain b/c of a health problem, and i use them regularly.
Stuntmen need honorary oscars!
Not stunts as a whole, but the people who do them!
Chris Brewster is a product of Sharkey's Karate Studio and Team AKA. My kid is an alumnus of the same school and Team and is now also in LA pursuing his stunt career.
It was rough when it cut while I was 2/3rds of the way through the reaction when it first went live lol been waiting for it to come back.
Missed it the first time, digging it the second!
Nice this upload is back UA-cam tried to kill it a couple of weeks ago. Good movie
Man I love the chemistry between Ryan and Emily Blunt
This was definitely a love letter to the stunt community
Yes!! More people need to see The Fall
@@NightwingTV No, I meant this movie-ua-cam.com/video/ralDX8PZlXI/v-deo.htmlsi=_IsHXYfInJ-IdBhk
@@NightwingTVYou have to see our whole video to understand what he’s talking about. He wrote it correctly. It’s another movie called The Fall.
I love this movie. Watched this on my birthday Friday night. I love the Kenergy of Ryan Gosling in this film. Mom still calls him male Barbie.
He really did that drop !!!
Let me watch this super fast in case it gets taken down again lol Ive been waaaittting!
Awesome quirky fun & Cute love story of Filmmaker & A Stuntman 🎬🤘🏻👌🏼🎥🎞
Gosling is 10 years older than Aaron Taylor-Johnson. Gosling is bigger in "The Gray Man". When asked how he does it he says he has to pick up a lot of really heavy stuff and not eat what he really likes.
I don't know why this didn't do good it was great especially the extended cut
As soon as he was denied the second cup of coffee, my brother and I went: 'Hudson Hawk!'
This movie was great, really, really enjoyed it.
11:13 not bad singing archara really good no shaking in the vocals 👍🏻
Loved your reaction as always. You should watch society of the snow. It's a great movie and I would love to hear what you have to say about that one. If you do watch it I recommend the original language with subtitles, the acting was amazing.
This is off topic, but hear me out.
Recently watched a 1994 movie, Blown Away. Imagine a catch and mouse scenario of a Boston cop chasing a mad bomber, in an analogue world before the internet age. The same goes with the camera work , superb without the use of CGI.
Tenseful art direction depicting ingenious rubes golberg bombs accompanied by suspenseful music from Alan Silvestri at his best.
Real explosions, practical effects and sets with good family drama (memorable death) and a bit of buddy cop drama as well. As a bonus great cast, also starring Jeff Bridges (and his dad) vs Tommy Lee Jones at his wackiest.
Would you guys react to this 90s undiscovered gem of a movie which came out the same year as Speed.
Is this movie already available to stream somewhere?
People should really check out the director's cut. It actually enhances the movie and adds in some minor missing plot details from the theatrical edition.
Jaby you were suppose to watch the movie in cinemas ?..
You said while watching the trailer ?
I loved the movie and I loved the reaction!
Loved this movie so much
wow!
You guys like real stunts you should watch Hooper and smokey and the bandit
Time to watch a former stuntman react to a movie about a stuntman ;p
Really good Enjoyable Movie! Fellow Canadian 🍁 Ryan Gosling 👊😎✊
And At the End of the Movie It is Lee Majors the Original Fall Guy From The TV show And Ofcouse The Six Million dollar man 👍😎👌🍁
@Achara is that Jaby's shirt you wearing?
They did a great job with this, a fitting tribute to the original 80s show as well.
Another movie that's sort of from inside the industry perspective is an 80s film called F/X. The premise is a special effects specialist is hired for a job that tangles him in a web of danger and intrigue. It's a little dated but I bet you guys would really enjoy it anyway
Okay lol are you two an item lol iv seen a couple videos were I was like hmmmm I think they are lol
Ryan Gosling is so cool. The Fall Guy started to pick up at the box office and they put it on VOD lol. It is doing better than Furiosa so far financially.
I’m okay!! I’m not dead
My New Favorite Action\ Comedy!😵💫🫣🤣🥰💥🎛📽💞
I love this movie #fallguy for the stunt people.
5 minutes into this video I noticed they were reacting to fall guy and not free guy.
The original show was awesome! It was about a stuntman, played by Lee Majors, who works as a bounty hunter between stuntman jobs. The beautiful Heather Thomas was on his stuntman team and helped in bounty work. Their character names were Colt Seavers and Jody Banks. Yes, they were the two at the end of the movie.
" In case if anybody is just wondering who's David Leitch?, He's a fkn Hack "
There’s an old Burt Reynolds movie called Hopper from 1978 that’s about stuntmen. Awesome movie!!!
Is this a reupload? I swear I already saw this reaction.
It’s explained in the description. The short of it, we had some copyright issues. This is also a better edit.
FYI....Metalstorm is real. It's a low budget from the 80s.
HBK First to watch his fav UA-camrs shout to me
Which country this film industry from where is this movie created?
Hudson hawk did the coffee thing first
is this a reupload?
Not knowing who Lee Majors is while watching this should be a friggn crime punishable by jail....
🙄😁😂🤪
The Intro of the original series ua-cam.com/video/dj9ev40C30M/v-deo.htmlsi=l6qc9skXipIpdMHG | 45:00 thats the original Colt and Jodie the other cop (at least I think its her, dont know what she did to her face)
deadpool and wolverine bestfriends day video reaction
BIG Mistep: You talk about stunt team so much, and then skipped the End Credits HighLighing ALL of the STUNTS!
Another movie that pays homage to stunt people is Death Proof.
how much is it real? what the stuntmrn tract from Corridor Crew with the director 😅
"...feels a little long"

Waiting for a reboot of the 6 million dollar man.
6 billion dollar man?.

Instead of running to karaoke, you think he should what drop in at the local rent-a-car or steal one. Why would that take less time?
I don't know who edited this video but THIS 10:51 then cut to 10:54 was diabolical. If ya know about THAT deleted video then ya know.
Jaby: “this is a situation that would never happen”
Ezra Miller: Hold my beer
am i tripping or is this a reupload ?
This is a reupload right because i remember watching this video but it disappeared the next day i searched for it
WATCH KAMBAKKHT ISHQ it is somewhat similar
Jaby we need you to react to logan the wolf a wolverine short film. The choreography is impressive. I think you'll like it.
RE: the boat driving scene, he didn't do it backwards on Miami Vice, but had done it enough times that he said he could do it with his hands tied behind his back.
Yo
Ryan Gosling did do the first stunt, he even mentioned the glasses he put on were to hide his scared eyes
