Great technique, terrible editing. The whole point of a video like this is to demonstrate the fine points of technique, so why did the editor cut it up in a way that makes it impossible to see what the teacher is actually doing?
Cause he doesnt understand martial arts
I hate the frame changes so much lol
Blue guy: why did I sign up for this
sounds like bones are cracking everytime he lifts him up xD
When you are first taught judo, you are taught to breakfall which basically takes all of the pressure out of your body onto the mat. After a lot of judo, you get used to being thrown. :)
True, at my MMA we always warmed up with running in a circle, then practice ebie's (shrimps), front-rolls, backrolls, front falls, and back-falls.
We then worked on technique, and finished class with one-on-one rolling.
BJJ, Judo, and submission wrestling was mainly what we worked on.
10-years and still going.
Uke looks so pissed at the world.
does this glitch still work in the latest update?
lol
Not anymore dude, there was a patch yesterday
poor dude dosnt want to here"One more time" ever agin
Exactly what I said ever video
Thx so much for the clips n demos. They're really helpful. However, I think th@ u're zooming in a littli too much with the effect th@ I really can't see wh@ u're demonstrating.
The technique at 2:00 is wicked. You think you know judo but the person you are tossing knows it better than you.
imagine you take a few judo lessons and in street fight you up against a guy you think who dont know nothing, you go for the judo throw and then you get countered lol
The angles and quick camera changes are all for aesthetics and make this video terrible you can't see footwork or technique.
very good techniques ,, oss
me gusta judo
I wish I could alsow train more in falling correctly it's so important to escape injury
Superb
Nice enough throws, poor editing, well it misses the key points for a judoka to study and copy. Not sure about where those Japanese translations came from either, not accurate.
this is great an all, but i'd imagine if i tried to grab someones t-shirt and do this it might be more difficult..
Kristian Camp judo, although it is a martial art, is a sport (olympic) where you would all wear the same uniform (the GI) so it doesnt matter about the t-shirt problem ;)
There are lots of judo throws that don't require grabbing there clothes e.g seoi nage
well first, the shirt will provide enough resistance to use as a control tool, but it will not likely last more than one fight. this isnt your problem anyway if you get in truble in the street. Second, all those techniques are still simple to do by gripping ukes body (except tsurikomi goshi, i give you that).
Now, i'll admit that i have just little experience in judo, but people went in with clothes they didnt care to lose when they couldn afford a gi. many came to train with slim, short sleeved shirts, that werent even thick, and they were still usefull in randori. in this experience, the shirts also spreaded the tension trough themselves, and mostly over stretched (rarely one broke to the point of falling out).
No Greater Love some ufc fighters like ronda rossey and karo parisian us judo through all the time.no gi or grabbing shirts.
This is glorious, been searching for "judo escapes" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Keyandon Judo Process - (do a search on google ) ? Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my co-worker got cool success with it.
I dislocated my shoulder and broke my wrist by falling incorrectly and it bloody hurt those mats aren't the kindest to land on either
Great Video ! ! :D
Si hicieran menos juegos de cámara fuera un éxito.....
judo have much more throws, and some rules are diffrent [for example in judo almost all techniques can't catch legs (while standing fight) ]
world you like
for put it in English: Don't play that much with the cámara.... it's annoying have to see all those effects.
What is the difference between judo and jui jitsu they look the same
Good moves but horrible camera work. How the hell can we see what they're doing?
Uke gonna have a bad back and glass joints by the time his kids turn 5
i decide to shut this video because this ad is disturbing me
it's not painful at what so ever
Sampson Sampson? How uncommon.
i know kung fu !
they know how to land properly
What's worse than falling incorrectly is having your opponent fall incorrectly onto you that hurts like hell as well cracked a rib like that lol . I've had a few friction burns as well from sparing on my knees and trying to get out of holds. They don't go easy on you just because your a girl lol but i'm glad that they don't . Ouch bet your ribs hurt after that.Today when doing training i ended up spraining my ankle so i'm on the sidelines for a bit lol
its just needs tremendous amount of strength and balance
I'd love to go to this guys class! I just wouldn't want to be thrown about in his video's haha.
Thanks for the techniques!
Im rubbish at most techniques been doing it for years and years
Alessandro Giaccherini You need to find a new teacher then...
That guy looks sad
No... despite the sound, in Judo you train on how to fall down correctly without damaging your body even more than you train on how to throw someone...
Therefore.. no bones breaking :)
Could be great video but that edit is terrible... it's very uncomfortable to watch.
Thx so much for the clips n demos. They're really helpful. However, I think th@ u're zooming in a littli too much with the effect th@ I really can't see wh@ u're demonstrating.
i feel bad for that kid
Thanks for this, I hope you apply slow motion with each move without moving the camera so we can follow the movements accurately. I noticed that The one wearing blue looks bored, haha.
Did this man just say his name was "Sampson Sampson" and these were "Judo hip techniques in Judo"?
All the judo techniques are included in jui jitsu but not all the jui jitsu techniques are included in judo because judo is essentially a competitive sport today. Breaking the opponents neck in the olympics might be frowned upon. There are two exceptions - the Kata in armor and the Kata with the sword which I don't think are demonstrated anymore. I saw the Kata in armor when I was a boy in Tokyo.
can Judo techniques be used on someone who is not wearing a gi?
+Tonii Toriano Yeah. Overhooks and underhooks. Actually the standard GI grip looks a lot like wrestling no GI grip, you know? Elbow and collar.
Does that hurts
azerbaijan helo
Right lol the "throwing dummies" are the real ones you dont want to mess with, they can take a lot of punishment haha
How do you throw them though? P.S. +Todd Bowring that is an awesome story!
epic skills
am rat thich
please ask the cameraman to cover properly the tricks.
it`s me again damn your good i wish for you coult be my sensei damn your good
Pause at 2:32 he is in pain.
epic
Muito bom! Um ótimo contra-golpe e mais uma carta na manga para usar nos campeonatos! Show!
I love the videos dude you are badass keep up the good work
If you do Judo, you get used to it. Your body becomes stronger after time.
Yup you can tell by the way he jumps into the throws
The guy in blue look tired of b3ing the dummy
That Resisting hip throw is so beautiful when it is done right.
Uke's like "no, not one more time", lol.
WOAH ...did you krack his bones xD0:42
What a beautiful throw.
amazing i always get caught like that!!
Sir you are awesome! !!!!!
Thats realy cool thanks for the info :D
he is quite skilled
R.I.P legs 2017
do you have to have strength to do these?
No as long as you have proper technique you will be able to throw stronger heavier bigger opponents
+Alastair TAYLOR-SMITH even the last 2 techniques? looks like he is lifting him though
lametalk im a little late on this thread, but yes even on bigger opponents they works because its using the spring of the hip and most powerful muscle group in the body, the legs so no it doesnt need alot of strength
its the mic shifting
6th Dan man.
I train every day for an hour (I come early to traning) just on falling correctly.
Today I burnt my elbow while sprawling, I fell flat on my back (My lungs pushed out the air like a tornado) and while rolling forward I think something went wrong with my neck...
So apparently, I need more training.
Stay safe :)
how are you at falling now?
@@wgpgolden243 Remarkably better. But I'm older now so I'm more careful around knee techniques.
@@MrYoneta1 that's so interesting to hear, eight years later. hope all has been well
Good throws!
I really didn't get the technique.
his disciple is so pretending lol.
What if it was somebody who is taller than your size that can be nearly impossible to throw, like my sparring
partner?
Judo works easier, the bigger they are as its leverage over a lower fulcrum, they fall harder. Physics. Reality of application is dependant on you personal skills and their situation and skills.
