    Another surreal video. Incredible! His connection with his work and with photography stands out. Perhaps the closest thing to this I only saw with our great Sebastião Salgado. Congratulations !

    My ex-husband taught mechanical engineering at the academy. I am a veteran and served two tours in the Persian Gulf. This is incredible. Thank you!

    Another fantastic shoot, always love watching your BTS and editing with the concept commentary, so much to be learned from it. Still love the Aircraft Carrier the best, but this is a close second. Looking forward to your next Navy adventure, maybe on the Space Station?!

    There's been a lot of drama surrounding generative fill in the sports world I feel like. So it's cool to see you've embraced it. It's an amazing tool when used correctly.

    This is really informative. As a video editor, there is so much to learn and keep up with. This helps me both with my video editing and photo editing. Thanks. I saw one of the ads last week and knew it was your photo.

    Hey James, love your content. Would you be able to make a video that goes into how you put together a proposal for a shoot like this for a client?

    What an awesome experience, thanks for taking us along! What kind of light wands do you recommend? I noticed some were used on a few setups. Didn't see them listed on your equipment list. Thanks

      I've used Nan-lites in past. I did a full video on them if you search my history on here.

    Amazing and so, so freaking cool. Question: do you generally leave enough room to crop a photo in post or do you shoot it tight most of the time? Obviously not necessarily in this shoot considering the tight quarters. Thanks

    • @QuantzPhoto
      @QuantzPhoto  9 місяців тому

      Usually try to leave room but it is always situational.

    James, fantastic, thanks so much. First, #BeatArmy - and I mean that. Second, the practical flourescent overhead tubes already on the sub: Turned off? Gelled? Fixed in post or just let go in this "dramatic" lighting set up?

    • @QuantzPhoto
      @QuantzPhoto  8 місяців тому +1

      Turned off, covered or mixed in depending on the look we were after.

    In the white/glow layer from that last image. Did you fill the layer with white or was it the color from the color range selection?
