Hi Alex, I have the 2024 GLE 53 SUV and the suspension is definitely tighter than the regular GLE. The GLE 53 also has AMG Bucket seats that could be uncomfortable on long car rides, but personally it doesn’t bother me. The popping from the exhaust only occurs when you’re in sport plus. I was not a fan of it until I actually got to drive and experience it myself, now I love it! If you want a fast, but comfortable Mercedes, I would recommend looking at the GLE 450 and GLE 580. Both have the great comfortable experience that Mercedes has to offer with a bigger engine than the I4.
My 2024 stock GLE53 coupe with mild electric gives 600NM when it’s charged. Supercool to have a family car that performs when you want some fun: you know a family men gets complain so much on a sedan sports that can’t fit. This suv works, it gets the bigger attention; and people can see you from far. Speed is no longer important; most important is the sound on the i6 , performance exhaust and gets the attention you need as it’s huge. Air suspension is good but makes me feel like driving a boat . It’s slightly hard to get into the car and the steps are useless. I give this car at 8.5/10 My lexus activates the camera when slow speed , easy for me to park and drive around curb. I’m still finding a way to automatically enable this function on my gle instead of activating it manually. If anyone has a solution; let me know please. Thanks

Our 2024 Mercedes GLE53 broke down at 3900 miles and will be at the dealership for 1 month+ waiting for parts! I really regret buying it and will never buy a Mercedes again!
