Thanks for sharing this, Paul. I have watched this so many times. The chemistry between Sarah Rawls and Andrae Crouch keeps me cracking up! I am amazed to see how humble he was. This was recorded during a time where he had won 3 Grammys, traveled to many countries, performed on The Barbara Mandrell show, was a guest on The Michael Douglas show and several years after his "Live at Carnegie Hall" concert/album. He was a true man of God. In each interview, concert, video, etc..., he ALWAYS mentioned his love for God. I am a huge Andrae Crouch fan. The world has a huge void with the loss of such a talented individual. I just pray that I can have a strong conviction like his. He honored God and created music up until his dying day. He truly lived that "Can't Nobody Do Me Like Jesus"!
Andrae had no filter 😂 talking to the camera crew and etc, tearing the food up, while still filming 😂 couldn’t hardly talk 🤣🤣 but the part that got me was when the Outro music start playing for commercial… Andrae said “I’m not supposed dance” because it was secular music lol…truly was one of a kind and is truly missed.
That lady was OFF DA CHAIN! Str8t up REAL! Love it! Andrae Crouch was tearing that food up with his handsome self. I was a little girl when he was popular in music, but I used to listen to older women go crazy over him. Now I see why. R.I.P.
I had no idea Andrae was on a cooking show. This is cool! And yoooo I recognize that "Thunder Thumbs" slap bass playing anywhere. I knew it had to be Louis Johnson :)
I watched this every day when I was young. I LOVE it; she was so awesome!! I'm glad people remember her. I had only one issue; I don't use MSG; but heck, she's a great cook, and her personality is "well girl", she made me feel terrific!!
@6:42...I praise Him everyday. Indeed we should, whether we are cookin' or just lookin'. I enjoy this presentation. I hope to be a great soul food cook as I get older.
