I never knew he wrote The Blood that Jesus shed for me. He said its the first song he ever wrote too. Wow!
It's amazing how this man closed out his life with a final magnificent song.

Was thinking the same thing, he had said all he needed to say, all that was left to instruct us to do was to say “Amen!” to God’s completed work. After all these years, this still moves me. May he rest in peace in The Lord, from all his labor🙏❤️

We used to spend every evening for 6 months doing this with Andrae. The lady in the white blouse's name is Saschka she has a very soulful voice. This brings back a lot of memories!

@@MrJHDZ14 Yes, he was a dear friend and a funny guy. I traveled with him as his assistant to Sarasota, Florida once, and I shot his video ministry at his church for a couple years. I still have a voice-mail of him calling me, saying, "Hello Eric, this is Andrae', your friend." I miss my friend!
I was blest to speak with his mother. She was such a sweet lady. This was right after Andrae's Live in London concert.
I think this is the greatest and most beautiful gospel song ever written.
I just wonder how God gives some people such talent it's just amazing wow!!!!

While I love " Let the church say Amen"....
my personal favorite of his is...." The blood will never lose it's power"( which I read somewhere, that he wrote at the age of 14 yrs old!!)If I'm not mistaken.
He has made such a huge contribution to the world of , Gospel.

You may understand why he was faithful to the call of God on his life to the end. It is not easy to stand when fame and glory comes your way, many started good and didn't finish well. Great Legacy and example for younger talents.

I remember sitting on the piano bench with my mother who played 4 up to four different choirs and they all did Mr. Crouch's music.. RIP to a giant.
Indeed God has spoken and I only have to say Amen to His Word. Amen. We used to sing this song 'through it all' way back in college in 1999 in Ghana. I never knew he wrote that song. I was searching for the lyrics of The blood never loses its power and I got to know most if his songs. I have been listening to a couple of them and I can say he was just a gift. I'm blessed by his works.

I a pianist and I rarely every play publicly. Those who do get to hear me are always stunned and can't believe that they have know me, in some cases for many years and did not know I play piano. Sadly I must confess I am one of the ones the Bibles speaks of who has hidden my light under a basket for a great many years. Stage freight is the main reason and I never like doing anything that draws attention to myself. I ask every one here to pray with me that God will give me the strength and the courage to come from under the basket and let my light shine. For the past few weeks every Sunday morning I attend an online church service. Towards the end message Marvin Winans version of this song is playing softly in the background. I finally downloaded it from Amazon.com. Of all the songs I have ever heard in my life this one song has lit a Great fire in my spirit to learn this song and more importantly find a church in my area that I can share my gift with. I studied music and the piano from age 3 and thirty years later I was still taking private piano. I am an accomplished pianist, but just have not enjoyed playing in public. This glorious song has set my soul on fire like not other. This video of the creator of this song playing and singing it is the catalyst for me to pour my soul into learning to play this piece just as this master has.

The prayers of the righteous avail much. Since find and listening to this video 2 days ago I found a tutorial of this song and have now learned to play all but the response. I know I will learn the rest in the next couple of days as time permits. That alone shows me that God has lifted the veil from my ears and eyes.

This gorgeous song, I think, should be sung a the end of the sermon: God has spoken and we can only agree (,meaning of Amen :"it is so") Paul says in Corinthians tha every one has been given a talent FOR THE COMMON GOOD. I encourage youth start by playing before t he crowd comes: I play for 1 5 minutes for song service and cant' make myself practice so I am not mor e than adequate , but am the only one on time who can play at all and I do. God will ask you what you did with the talent he gave you, and you don't want to say "I was afraid". Has not given yo the spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind. 2 Tim. 1:7 Blessings
