Deb, just want to let you know that Angelina's grandma had surgery today. There is a very moving video of Angelina with her grandma at the hospital posted on Angelina's facebook page. The love they have for each other is unparalleled.
Listen to her doing it on herself . I think it sounds like a mother singing to an upset child , that if You believe ( regardless )
of what someone else IF YOU BELIEVE YOU can do anything . To me it's a lullaby . I cry every time .

I love you always guys when you react to Angelina, you are right she is indescribable, she always manages to capture the essence of the songs she sings and transmit it with overflowing emotion, it always leaves you in love and amazed at what she is able to do. I never liked this song and I just listened it because of angelina but even though I am not a singer and have no clue what is singing about I can say this song is a very tricky song and is very hard to sing 👍👍💙💙💙

Deborah and Tony, I want to thank you both very much for reacting to this matchup. As I was watching and listening to it I had to remind myself that Angelina is at least ten years younger than Mariah and Whitney when they performed this song. For those that are just discovering Angelina, watching this matchup will clearly demonstrate how, at fifteen years old, she belongs in the discussion of the top female vocalists. It will also show the viewer that Angelina is absolutely fearless. We’ve all watched her cover songs from the best in the business, including from different genres, and there is one indisputable common denominator, Angelina always puts forth a breath taking performance that leaves us mesmerized and astonished.
Everyone’s chills meter had to be at peak level while watching this performance.
Many times with Angelina, I hear bits of Billie Holiday and Amy Winehouse, two of
the most iconic jazz singers with very individual styles of jazz inspired passion.

Going back to this mashup, we are now getting down to the nitty gritty of what Angelina adds to her interpretations that is different to the originals
Angelina’ singing style is much more spoke/ spoken word as opposed to sung out, at times AJ is whispering the notes in tune , Angelina’s found that perfect balance Between Singing and speaking/ whispering the message of the songs.. the breaks in her singing style/vocals help her with This.
this is like someone whispering in your ear, to the listener it makes it sound more personal & intimate + emotional, from a storytelling standpoint..
it also has the effect of drawing you in a lot more, Just like if someone was whispering a message to you, you would move in closer to hear more. With out having Whitney’s Vocal power and range, she matches her Tonality and pitch.. Angelina does this, the matching of Tonality so well, lot of ppl say, she sounds just like some of the artists she covers, but this is not true
When you hear a mashup like this, there is obvious differences... check out Angelina’s rendition of endless love... different Class.

Angelina’s unique God given talent and awe inspiring brilliance shined through in this matchup. Just when we think we can’t be more impressed with Angelina’s immense talent, this matchup proved to the world that our barefoot princes is a supremely gifted and genius level talent.
This is another Mashup with Angelina and Duffy singing "Mercy", it is unbelievable. When you watch it keep in mind Angelina is just walking through a parking lot with no music singing this. They mash it up with a live performance of Duffy and put the music with Angelina, oh my goodness you will love it. And again it is totally different.

Great reaction as always ... heartfelt and emotional. I think you're at the point when you say that Angelina knows how to sing a song. Meaning, that she intuitively knows how a song is best expressed to bring out the meaning behind the text. I also could not hold back my tears, especially with regard to Whitney who left us far too soon.
I cried too, Deborah. I've seen both performances but never a mash up. It was amazing hearing this lovely song like this. Loved what you and Tony had to say. I'm glad you love Angelina like I do. ❤

I prefer to listen to AJ oeiginal version (no mashup), more genuine feeling she puts in it which gets a little lost here- still thanks for your reaction anyhow
Angelina’s solo version is vastly superior, and supporting this mashup the UA-cam rewards go to the masher, and not Angelina. My first thumb-down to one of your reactions. Please think of Angelina before doing more mashups.
Let me just say, Carey stinks and sings too whiney. AJ does this particular song really good and sounds very lovely. But there "aint" noone like Whitney. Whitney's tone and volume and beauty and power resonates so easy, especially with her belting and higher register.
