Note for the crossbow crony. He has two animations when ever he shoots quickly or not Watch out for when he quickly holds it in one hand as opposed to holding it against his shoulder.
i also recommend memorizing sound cues because they also help with the parrying like when sentient statue uses statue crush, it's optimal to press space after you hear the first "thud" sound for each descent
Idk if this is true but for the sentient statue's stomp its better to wait until he makes the stomping sound/wait for he to be close to the ground to dodge
To counter the statue better this is what I do: when you hear the statue play the sound when it’s charging at you, just tap. For the smash, just wait and tap before he’s close to hitting the ground. I managed to solo the 4 statue floor with the strat. Hope this helps!
for 19, personally, i just waited until they were about 7 studs from me (you can tell from the bg studs) then press space. for the stomp, i just gamed it.

The dodging in this game feels really weird, I press space as soon as the enemy is about to hit me but it doesn’t dodge, I’m new to this game so it could be skill issue but I feel like it’s janky
perfecting in this game makes no sense, in paper mario its the frame they’re about to hit you while in this game is the frames they’re about to start hitting you

I noticed that Audio cues can also help in getting the perfect dodge frame, keep your ears out for a lot of em, otherwise try and eye it out
