I bought the Number of the Week printable recently after hearing your recommendation (and using your link :). I am loving the ease and open-and-go approach of it. Bonus: my 4 year old is thrilled to "do school" every day.
Isn’t it nice to have it all laid out? Sometimes we go out of order - I generally give her the packet of pages for the week and she chooses what she’s like to work on. 🙂
My daughter has CAPD and she still struggles with number recall. I think this might be fun for her in the upcoming year during our calendar time. I think she’ll love the wearable watch since she’s still reviewing time. Thanks for sharing ☀️
Thanks so much for watching! I think the number bracelets don’t help with time as much as number sense, but that would be a cute thing to make in your own!
Great review. Thank you! I have a rising preschooler and would love the ease of this. What do you do if your child doesn’t want to do book work? At this age I am torn, is play more important or is pre-writing and pre-reading more important? I feel like my son would only actually do a fraction of the pages.
I think play is infinitely more important! Mine happens to like bookwork so she can work alongside her siblings, but I know she may not complete all of these sheets. I’d provide lots of physical learning tools, like puzzles, play kitchen items, counters, ribbons, etc. This is more to keep her happy and feeling “big kid-like” than to be rigid. If your child doesn’t like writing yet, skip it for awhile or try it in different mediums like dry erase, sand, playdough, and chalk. As for reading, just keep reading aloud! It helps to point out letters and sounds in picture books they like. It’s such a fun age! Just follow their lead. 🙂
+Project Happy Home Thank you for your perspective and these suggestions. I think I’m excited about writing and curriculum but my child isn’t ready. These sheets look great for me to have and offer if there is interest. But I’ll focus on other more Montessori type manipulative activities. Thanks!
I am so excited for this! My youngest is 3 currently so she will be joining us in November when she turns 4 and this looks so wonderful! :o thank you VERY much for sharing!
I know this was from 3 years ago but did you use any other curriculum from them? Was this enough to teach her sufficiently? They offer other things for activities but you have to buy a lot of accessories I guess you would call it to go along with it which can get costly.
We’ve used the fairy tales, the READ curriculum, and the states packets. All great! I haven’t bought much of anything but common household items like qtips.
I’m sorry, I’m not sure how they bundle them right now - I’d check the site and see. Sometimes the bundles offer so much more than the individual products. 🙂
It really is! I hate hunting and pecking for worksheets and activities, and this provides a nice chronological sequence for my 4 year old. We supplement with lots of hands on activities and library books, but these fulfill her desire to do “big kid” work with her siblings.
I actually have an Epson laser jet which I love. 2500 pages per cartridge set. Recently, I’ve started using the homeschool printing company for bulk orders and they’re amazing!
I love your walk-thrus on this type of curricula. It's really helpful to see the details. Thanks for making this video.
Thanks, dear!

This makes it soooo easy to give them book work when they want to do “real” school. 🙂

I love this, I used some freebies from them. My son would love some of these!
Their stuff is so easy to print and set up! I love how complete and simple their curricula packs are.
Great video, thank you for sharing. Is the alphabet of the week and the alphabet review kit together or has to be purchased separately ?

What printer do you have? We desperately need a new printer. Love your review of this and the READ curriculum which I am almost certainly getting :-)
Arika Szymczak go with an Hp and sign up for the instant ink. So worth it.
