It’s interesting how much flowers along a trail, especially during a tough climb, can be so inspirational and comforting. I’m not a flower guy but loved the presents of colorful flowers while on the Colorado trail.
It seems like everyone is going SoBO on the CDT and I'm here for it! 😄

P.S. Sorry to hear of the poor camper ediquette. I would ask locals to please respect eveyone if they are up past hiker mid-night and break camp prior to sunrise.
To bad that campers don't know prpper etiquette and realize how loud they really are. Applause for a good bathroom experience, hehehe. So beautiful. What type of elevation are you at? Keep trekking. 😀

I want someone to video the not fun parts of hikes. The stuff that isn't pretty or enjoyable and make that most of their episodes. Those would be fun. There's a lot of it.
Why new permits needed? Do you need to do that when you leave the trail?
