YO!!!!! I saw you landing those air blades!!!!! How's it feel?!?!? You're movement got REALLY clean compared to the beginning, great job, and love the content as usual! Keep it up bro :)
Hell yeah dude! The swordplay in silent line is wicked smooth. I finally got my old school skills back online after shaking off the rust from episode 1 lmao. Thanks as always brother.
God, these old AC beats are so good. AC6's tunes are very good, Cries of Coral is without exaggeration otherworldly, but the beep-boops will always click with sci-fi in a way that is virtually impossible to top.
Woahhhh interesting. That's a pretty cool secret. I would never have even thought to try. That probably made for an awesome schoolyard rumor back in the day.
Silent Line was my second Armored Core, and I think I remember that happening way back in the day. I got my ass kicked clean, I had no idea what was going on.
Hellz yeah brother. Silent line was my favorite PS2 generation Armored Core game. If you played armored core 3 first, you can download your AC3 data (all weapons and parts, and most importantly OP-intensify option part) and start out with all of them in silent line.
Doodoo butter haha yeah, that’s a new one for me. Digging this playthrough. Just bringing back all that nostalgia. Cant wait until you get to the crazy mechs in the silent line.
Looking more into the mission details this time around made me realize that their asset design philosophy was absolutely crazy. Like there are so many cannon fodder tier enemies that each only appear in just a couple missions, some even only in a single one. And we aren't talking copy paste recolors or minor variants, we are talking such relatively complex behaviors like making one unit airdrop another unit and then continue fighting as air support. Very interesting to reverse engineer the thought process game developers had back then. Very open to experimentation and just throwing an idea into the pot, even if it's only for that one area. Also, Ori's Moon Salt has a part that is a massive headscratcher for me. Why would one want to sacrifice both back slots and 100k credits for 5,000 extra boost power? That seems to be sitting somewhere around like a 30% bonus on average, which I mean sure, it is extra mobility, but what good is a potential aerial speed demon build when it lacks a hefty chunk of its weaponry and needs the head to serve as the radar piece?
@@remor698 yeah the old games have to cool little quirks and design decisions in them. Like how an enemy AC shows if you crush too many cars lol. I thought that was so cool to find out about. Moon salt definitely seems like an odd setup. Reminds me of a couple of ACs from the previous games.
I’m playing through Silent Line Portable for the first time (with an imported save from AC3 portable). The main AC I ran was a quad-leg and I’m thinking about trying out the back mounted launchers (or cannons or whatever they’re called) to take advantage of not having to kneel every time you want to use them. Anyways, I’m enjoying this play through so far. It’s nice to see someone playing through the game about as blind as I am.
For the I-C003-IN (the boogeyman at the end of power plant emergency) I recommend using KRSV to recreate it in AC6, as that main gun is powerful and shoots fast, same as the KRSV can do. EARSHOT Grenade Cannon and split missiles would also be good for design on the thing.
I love this guy, he's listed as literally just an MT yet surpasses the average AC, not to mention I think he sort of became an inspiration for Balteus' body model (The head at least). By the way I know you've been playing Elden Ring, but have you played the other souls games?
@@Thryfe Respect, man. Just wanna see you use more of those weapon without compromising ya build ya know? Lol But if you doing a full story run then you gonna have plenty of time so keep doin ya thang, brother!
“Vietnam War Simulator” is killing me. Lol
😄 it was crazy dude. Pitch black.
The "Uaahh!' has absolutely NO business being this funny lmao
I was so confused on where it was coming from. Here I am unknowingly murking everybody lmao. Oops

The old beats fit REALLY well with the settings for sure.
In the mission Distract Security Team, Shooting Star will appears if you destroy 10 cars or vehicles. When he shows up, the MTs won't spawn.

Who would’ve thought Havel the Rock was introduced way back in AC3: Silent Line as the boogeyman

Yeah if you aren't using human plus or OP intensify quad and tank legs are super good for those back weapons. A lot of strong cannons.

@@weasel003gaming7 Solid idea.
Thank goodness for the internal upgrades, seeing the last episode when you were in the red all the time was nerve wracking for me!
Yeah it was needed for sure lol. The first upgrades I usually do are generator, fcs, and booster. Makes even the starter parts work just fine.

Use the Arena to test the other weapons you want. My method was always to have a mission AC and an Arena AC. Bit of a money drainer tho lol
