- The thrift gods were on my side today! I found 15 items and spent about $100. I thrifted as much as I could while Jay was off running errands!! I hope you enjoy it! Thanks so much for watching!

As a customer, I HATE when sellers use "'brand'-style" to keyword or describe their listings. It pollutes the search results when I'm looking for something specific. If I'm on a specific search then knock offs then style adjacent items won't interest me. If I wanted a vintage 70's prairie dress I would use that description. If I'm looking for Gunne Sax I'm going to use the brand name.
My daughter earns customizable Converse as one of her rewards for selling Girl Scout cookies. The last ones she ordered some of the reviews said to order true to size and they are a bit tight on her. That kind of thing might have happened to the person who customized the ones you got. They are super cute!

I am in your camp. I would NOT tag it Gunne Sax, because sometimes I look for it and have come close to purchasing and it really p…me off. I sew, so if I wanted to-could make one myself, so if I’m looking for Gunne Sax-it’s intentional. It would definitely cause me to question how honest a seller is.
On another note I’m really struggling with photography. I feel very confident with sourcing, but I absolutely …100% suck at photography. If you have any tips I’d be eternally grateful. I have definitely googled photography …Poshmark…and -I just get confused and end up in this state of possibly buying some super expensive lighting kit or a cheaper one…AND…

I have an Allfenix sports bra that has been sitting for a while. I won't pick it up again. They are good quality though. That vintage dress is amazing!!

The all fenix is sold on Anthro so they are good quality. Definitely one of those brands that certain styles sell better than others
I sold an Albion Swim top that was just a plain black and it went for over $40
That brand is so consistent! I think I sold this suit on the lower side. It's still on their site for $138.

I do put the style in the title, especially if it’s unmarked and I’m pretty sure I know what it is, but don’t want to make claims. (I also sell hard goods) Right now I have a piece that could well be murano, but their stuff isn’t marked so I said murano style. I figure a murano collector would find it and they would know.

When I started reselling, I made a decision to not buy or sell anything if the brand label has been cut out. I'd rather use descriptive phrases to explain a vintage style but not a specific brand name. But it's really hard when you find a well-made custom/handmade or vintage piece without tags!
It is a challenge!! Hopefully some other vintage lovers will be on the hunt!

Those Crocs will sell! So will the Converse. I just sold a pair of low top basic black converse same day I listed them. Got them at a garage sale for $3 over the weekend. By the way, how do you handle items you buy at yard sales since you pay cash and don’t get a receipt? Great video! Always love your content! And I love your sweatshirt. Thanks for the encouragement! When I pay cash for stuff I tell Jay and he makes a note of it on his schedule. I don't think I can part with my sweatshirt. I love it!
I keep a Note in my phone called Garage Sale Purchases 2023, then at each place I make a purchase I record the date, the address, and the amount. I print it and put it with other paper receipts at the end of the year.
