+1000 -- I think I'd put Laniakea in my top 3 of best tech death albums ever, and there's a *lot* of excellent ones to choose from. It's just so otherwordly, and about this new song, like one particular comment used to say here, this brings me great pleasure XD
There are some parts in Heresiarch that are reminiscient of Laniakea. Don't count it out just yet, this is probably the most versatile album we've done to date! Levi and i we're discussing revisiting laniakea style on the next album tho so there is still some hope lol.

Loved Laniakea, however I felt it was held back a lot by the vocals (or the mixing of them). New vocalist sounds dope, would be really nice to have Laniakea style + great vocals
"Lucky" you - there's already 3 vastly different albums for you to listen to, before Heresiarch drops! :D Laniakea is the most aggressive with SO many awesome harmonies and tapping! Tæther is the most unique and ambitious, VERY proggy and almost psychedelic. Velothi is very atmospheric but with so many cool leads, fretless guitar (Fountainhead), violin etc.
