I really liked Claire’s concept for Quagsly’s evos, but I feel some parts of their evolutions felt too artificial. Like the hat was more of an accessory rather than a part of the body that resembles a hat. And any symbols used seemed too on the nose personally. Like it could use a bit more ambiguity for the symbols of the hat. But honestly, I do want a dark Blackbeard pirate bird now…Don’t let me down Nintendo!
I understand where you're coming from, but also... Look at the Oshawott line. It literally just has a seashell on its chest 😅 It's not a part of it's body, it's just... stuck to it's chest. And then to it's pants as a Dewott. So I don't think the Pokemon company is above using accessories in their pokemon designs 😅
agree, the idea was cool, and the sketches looking like old gen 1 art too O_O ...but i think the evolutions on quaxly has elements too much on the nose. i like how in the first form, quaxly hat is clearly his hair/feathers. I also think they have too much "like clothing". I like the wigns red like a cape and what she made with the beard tho
@@diegomedeiros456 Yeah, but still. A seagull sailor having a hat isn't too big of a stretch for me, though I agree that if it looked more like hair/feathers it would be more in line with the starter.
I’m 100% sure this designs look better than what we’ll get officially (Except Quaxly’s which looks cool, but I don’t like having actual clothes on Pokemon, because it makes no sense)
I get a lot of Serperior vibes from Sprigatito's line. Something that's elegant and yet threatening, as well as a basic design that flourishes as it matures. I love it!
coming back to this a year later, it's insane how you were spot on with the skeletal imagery in fuecoco's design. just the implication of a simplified skull in the first form was enough to lead a viewer to deduce that the evolution would expand upon that theme. ON TOP of being spot on with the typing. impeccable.
I'm just sad Quaxly lost his blue legs here DX he's such a cute little Blue Footed Boobie. These designs were amazing! And as always happy to see what y'all came up with!!!
I agree, that's such a big thing to overlook for her! I wonder if she wasn't in the right mind-space or something? The blue feet obviously reference a blue-footed bubi, I feel like they are something that should have been brought along for something so obvious.
I never noticed he was a blue footed boobie…….. MY DREAM IS NOW REALITY (although kingfishers are my favorite bird therefore my favorite animal overall and we don’t have a kingfisher Pokémon yet… sad.)
do blue footed boobies quack? Cuz im pretty sure hes a duck. even tho he has blue feet, he's also got a yellow bill. I mean, to be fair he could be a mix of both
god. your fuecoco is so good. i hate to bash other fakemon artists but i feel like you're one of the few who can properly take a concept of a starter and like, evolve it i guess? a lot of other people tend to just take the first one and make it bigger but you really use the evolutions to develop a concept and its just SO good
Personally, I think ur sprigatito final evo is probably as close to perfect as u can get without being an officially licensed pokemon. Haha fuecocos final evo strayed too far from the croc/gator and went into the dino area which I just dont see happening for a starter. I do however, love the bone and vertebrae aspect adding more of that ghost-y vibe. Quaxlys final (and second) just had too much clothing. It looked like it was wearing clothing as opposed to being a part of its physiology. I actually really liked the first big bill bird drawing u did for the second evo, and i love the idea of it becoming a pirate with practical sized wings. And that's my opinion on the matter. Cool artwork guys. Thanks for the entertainment.
@@fuzya8636 I think u made a good point about it usually being grass starters though, and on top of that, they r usually not carnivorous like in the art here. Idk, it just doesn't look like something they would do. Just my opinion though.
@@agamr7151 idk, I just can't see them making a dino fire starter. I actually wouldn't be too upset with a "fire feraligatr" like mon. They definitely have options though. Ur right about that.
@@agamr7151 yeah, I see what ur saying, and i even agree that it would be cool to be pleasantly surprised with some change. However, im just trying to base my expectations on what we have seen over and over.

@@naxurr8697 Thanks! I'd also want the middle evolution to be like, a moody teenager with bags under his eyes, as if he's hasn't been able to sleep due to the constant work and cold. Then the final evolution I'd want to be a old sea man, who also looks extremely tired. But because he knows he has to stay awake to keep his ship/Iceberg and crew moving and alive. Also maybe add some icicles dangling from the beak on them. For the middle one to be annoyed and concerned about these things as it makes it hard to speak. But the final evolution has them but doesn't seem to notice them, because he's been out there so long that they're essentially nothing. They don't even mess with him that much because he's not much of a speaker, instead his crew knows what to do just by his gaze or small directions he does I know this is a lot, but frankly I'd be the happiest person if I somehow managed to get this right
@@DissonantSynth If it becomes a Water/Ice type it would only be weak to Electric, Steel, and Fighting. And super affective against Flying, Ground, Dragon, Fire, Rock, and Grass
I mean, considering the protag of jojo part 8 IS a sailor (or at least wears a sailor outfit), we could hypothetically wind up with both in a buff jojo sailor duck
@@Subjectively Any theories on what the new gimmick will be? Cause my main theory is that will be a type change/alternate forms. Part of me hopes I'm right and GF will use it to give us a snake fire starter if only temporary and maybe give the starters (and other select Pokemon) two or three alternate forms that will please everyone. BTW I thinking art might be tied into the gimmick mechanic.
I’m sad knowing these are all way cooler than anything we’re actually going to get. I love Quaxley’s final evolution wings resembling a coat, but I agree with some comments saying the hat and clothes feel too artificial. Maybe head feathers resembling a captains hat would suit it more.
@Big Benny what's so hard to understand? This person said that they're sure it's better than whatever we're going to get, why do they gotta be negative? How do they know we're not actually gonna get something cooler?
Yea honestly I’m not a huge fan of the peg leg cause every time I think of the pokemon in battle it feels like a clunky addition solely for the sake of being more like a pirate, but I was impressed with the wings being turned into a coat cause it really ties the entire design together
I LOVE the idea of fuecoco's final evolution being ghost/fire, that's such an underused combo and the ghost pepper design was genius. Also, I have to say the idea of Duckaneer just wanting to be treated like part of the crew is so adorable LOL the whole pirate theme is so cool!!

Wow these are cool. I think Claire's quaxly evos look just a bit too different from quaxly, but on their own I think they're kewl pokemon. Also, I really like that new pokedex format. Really brings out the Spanish vibes!
With Amdirgull I feel like there’s to many design elements going on the cape and shirt together don’t look natural and look like actual clothes as oppose to a biological attribute and make it look less like a Pokemon. Love the other designs though.

Her concept is sound, its just her execution could have been better, more subtler in the design, the peg leg could have been an actual stick like braxien and delphox, and then have it hide it leg up like a flamingo to make it look like a peg leg/walking stick/weapon, the hat crest could be much more crest like by lessening the sharp angles, and remove the obvious symbol or change it to something more abstract, the wing could be much softer as angular feathers indicate steel typing but i guess dark type works too
I love how Suchili doesn't look friendly yet still appeals to kids: what kid doesn't love dinosaurs? I also like its potential for incorporating Dia de los Muertos' colorful sugar skulls! Your moss use is also unique as it never got covered by grass types. It'd be cool to see it more explicitly: You put a herbal necklace in 6:54; maybe the Elden-Ring-esque glowing moss can be placed there? It brings out the fae-ness even more. And they have SUCH good names: Curmawl (cure 'em all + mawl) and Ca-mew-mile!
If im being honest i don't think fuecoco representing Dia de los Muertos is a good idea. Unless the rest of the starters represent other hispanic cultures and celebrations just having Fuecoco be one would feel like a big cultural mix up, since Dia de los Muertos is a mexican celebrity, not a spanish one.
If the final designs are anything like yours, I would happily soft reset for shinies, and never be bored. These are such solid designs, and super appealing to the eye. It’s clear every decision made regarding design is very intentional. If Game Freak takes any hint from you, the starter evos for Gen 9 will be the most popular of any gen. Honestly, super impressed with these designs.
The moment you mentioned the meaning of "sprig" I remembered a concept I had for a new trio of starters, them being based on medicine, half joke half serious, let me explain: Grass: based on classic medicines only using plants, roots, and animal parts, also adding the spiritual side of that medicine, grass psychic. Water: modern doctor, cold tools and as precise as it could, is a surgeon, water steel. Fire: homeopathy, use what harms or is harmed to cure you, such as the poison of a serpent or eating the stomach to cure your stomach, and here comes the joke of fire fighting because of fire vs fire to cure burns.
@@Jormyyy is like getting spare parts for your body, ancient cultures believed eating animal or even human parts of what you had damaged would heal you, broken arm? Eat arm, broken leg? Eat leg, constant heart attacks? Eat a fckn human heart. PD: I made a mistake, I rewrote the comment and it was meant to say "eat animal stomach to heal your own stomach" Now, on the other hand, using a snakes poison to cure yourself isn't crazy, you can study it to find what can heal it, or even use the poison itself to create medicine against itself
@@juanrodriguez9971 Heck, even vaccines are a little bit 'hair of the dog'-style medicine. You take the disease, beat it up until it can't hurt you, and then use it to teach your body how to fight it. Variolation, the traditional practice preceding vaccination (using cowpox to prevent smallpox, or grinding up smallpox scabs to inoculate uninfected people against smallpox, for a couple examples) is a slightly riskier form but highlights how we really do use something that can cause harm in order to prevent harm.
Fire reminds me of cauterizing wounds and sterilization of tools, when your body heats up to fight a fever, or heat being used to reduce a consistent pain. Fire vs fire is how fighting cancer works because you destroy cells just like cancer does
I really don’t know why, but I’m feeling a fuecoco final evo that’s build like bowser, idk why it’s been on my mind but it’s been rent free in my brain since I saw the trailer
I personally think Quaxly is based on a matador, which is most well known for the Spanish-style bullfighting. Quaxly's stance is somewhat like a matador. With Quaxly head/hat, it could grow to represent a traditional hat; the montera. Since it is bullfighting, it leans it more to being a water/fighting type. At the same time, if Quaxly evolves to be more crane-like, its beak could represent either a fencing sword or a spear. Both are used in bullfighting. Also, its wings could be more like a cape.
If you know anything about modern Spanish culture you would know that matador and bullfighting is highly frowned upon, because it’s animal abuse, that’s like making a Pokémon based of Factory farms
@@mranima748 As an Spanish person I can say that you are right. Is useless to bring bullfighting in a pokemon game, appart from the fact that this topic can throw up a great controversy.
holy crap. this is my first video i came across of yours… and this got me shook. you are soooo talented the art is amazing & the thought and reasoning behind each of your designs was dope. pokemon needs to hire you asap! ty for blessing our eyes with these amazing pokemon you created 🙏🏽💗
I can really see Curmawl blending into forest brush, camouflaged, then stepping out Looks regal and powerful enough to defend the forest, but also kind enough to help those in need
I have watched a lot of fakemon designers and artists and all of them are amazing in their own way but I am absolutely astounded by how official and how much sense your evolutions make! Truly a lot of thought went into this!
I'd like to see a Grass/Dragon, Water/Dragon and Fire/Dragon final trio - only issue could be the quad ice weakness for the grass starter and ice being neutral for the other two
Okay, I have my own ideas. I just need you guys to help me finish it. Starter: Grass. 1.) Grass/Dark. Based off a forest spirit. Having it vaguely resemble young link, and those weird doll things from Triforce Heroes. 2.) Grass. Through training, it abandoned its underhanded ways. Based off of Toon Link. 3.) Grass/Electric. Now, struck throughout combat with the higher powers themselves, it has obtained powers some consider to be... inconceivable. Based off of Adult Link. Starter: Water 1.) Water/Flying. a strange stone triangle/tablet. It's actually made of archaic coral. Proverbs seem to grow from it, almost like wrinkles. 2.) Same type. Now, a pillar, or tower. It will allow its trainer to live within for some time. It seems to be growing downward. 3.) Same type. Now, a sort of small house. It shelters those it loves, and will care for any that live with in it. Starter: Fire. This is where I reached my dilemma, and where your supposed help begins. I'm thinking of a very aggressive being. I'm just having trouble being advantageous over the grass starter, but weak to the water for both of its types. Hope you all have some cool ideas.
I love that fuecoco’s final evo is inspired by spinosaurids! they’re some of my favorite dinos and very appropriate for the irl regions that inspired the new gen. I also love that it’s ghost type and has a skeletal design, I’m a sucker for that stuff
11:48 Fun Fact: A new genus of spinosaurid, named Iberospinus, was recently named after being labeled as Baryonyx for decades. I know this was probably before it was named, but it ties in and I like it.
I appreciate making Curmawl look less “masculine”. Sword/Shield has starters that lean exclusively masculine in design, which I find a touch off-putting (even though all starters have a massive gender ratio tilt towards male).
My hopes for the final starter evolutions are: A Grass/Psychic type evolution for Sprigatito drawing from Iberian Lynxes and Sabre Toothed cats. Iberian Lynx are said to be associated with Psychic powers. I'm so sick of seeing Puss in Boots inspired concepts. Puss in Boots is an Italian fairy tale. For Fuecoco, everything is pointing towards a Fire/Ghost type and I am so okay with that. Give me that skull faced ghost peppery boy. For Quaxly, I just want a buff, punchy, Water/Fighting, sailing, blue-footed-booby. I'm imagining wing-shape being used to simulate oversized, popeye-esque biceps. I hope they don't have it be too literally wearing clothes. That is something I can't stand in a starter. Incorporate the clothing imagery subtly through cleverly shaped hair and feathers.
You can argue Oshawott shouldn’t evolve into a samurai in an American region, or Infernape, clearly inspired by Sun Wukong, not being based off a China region, yada yada yada. Doesn’t matter the origin. Puss in boots is cool but i’d rather have the grass kitty stay quadrupedal.
9:45 I personally prefer this design for Litgarto but with the belly pattern of the final one. I really like Curmawl and Suchili but the Quaxly evos look more like characters from another cartoon rather than pokemon or even fakemon for that matter.
While i do like the idea of Quaxley turning into a sailor/pirate type design, I do think it'll end up turning into a Don Quixote type character (especially considering how important the don quixote story is to Spanish culture), maybe turning into a bumbling squire for the middle Evo and then a knight
I haven’t seen your video yet, today I saw the leaks, and when I saw your thumbnail I was so exited, ….. ooh the disappointment when I discovered this Is not the real thing, so please s Pokémon Company, hire this guy you really need it.
Jack!!! I told myself that when you talk about Gen 9, I would commend you for your Mazah region. While Gen 9 is based primarily on Spain, alongside Portugal, you were basically ahead of the curve with making a region based on a Spanish country. So give yourself a pat of the back!!!
I personally like mewoscarada a lot and Gay Duck alright but Felcoco 's final evolution. I just can't figure it out weather its trying to look funny or scary. Really dissapointed at how this amazing goat pepper turned into. But hey at least it's better than Intelleon and Delfox so that's better. This personally only my option
@@The-Og-DexHolderMeowscarada ia basic as hell and the ears are weird. I kinda like Quaquaval but half of the reason I do is the animations and the memes. Skeledirge is the biggest disappointment... why does it look like it's balding? Why is the head shaped like that? Why is there so much empty space?
I just wanna say I'm so happy your design for Sprigatito's evolution stays on all 4s, I love and understand the idea behind quadrapeds going bipedal but I also wanted a sleek jungle murderkitty, which you've provided wonderfully
Love these designs, a detail that I don't know if it was intentional but i really like is that fuecoco becomes a spinosaur, since these animals were very common in the Iberian Peninsula (where the region is based) :)
Love that Claire's contribution was included, respectfully. Bring back the gang videos when you can! Artists feeding into each other (even just vive) really accelerates designs in my experience. I may be in the minority, but the exposition format seems duller than pokemons' general tone. Look forward to seeing more after release!
Curmawl is the one for me, best grass starter design we've had. The fire evolutions probably would follow more standard crocodile motifs when we see them but the water evolution line is where we could see the most abstract artwork. I love the idea of seafaring for it and think we can capitalize on that more (example: 1st line - novice sailor, 1st evolution - rebel pirate, and final evolution - fearless sea emperor?).

Hisiuan Decidueye was so disappointing I put him in the stable and never looked back. It’s the last time I choose a starter before looking at their final evo
Would of much rathered a more top heavy Typhlosion. The ghost fire was cool but he just didn't have the kind of power radiating off him like normal typhlosion.
The Fuecoco line you designed is just pure genius. Would totally be my new favourite Pokemon and I feel like anything they come out with will be disappointing after this haha.
Absolutely living for the grass starter line. I love the fire starter’s second evo, but the final evo seems a bit… is harsh the word? Dramatic maybe? Not sure what I’m looking for here. I like it. It just seems out of place a bit. The one I like the least though is the water starter line. The concept makes absolute sense every step (I really like the personality shift for each evo) and I want it. But the execution… it felt very… Disney. Really not a fan of that peg leg either tbh 😅
I love all the designs and I find it funny that his region was Mexico which speaks Spanish and gen 9 actually being Spain the origin of the Spanish language
Love the first two designs, I liked the first bulky sketch of Fuecocos final evo too. The Quaxly line looks like digimon... pokemon shouldnt wear clothes and they dont really look like battlers, more like a cartoon characters.
The final evolution for fuecoco is actually cool, also fun fact and that is the spinosaurid look is actually very similar to a real dino called baryonyx since the design and size looks very baryonyx like, it also makes since as baryonyx has been found in spain which is what the region of scarlete and violet is based off of so the idea is really good and I hope it's what the evolution line goes for
Love the final designs you and Claire came up with. Fuecoco seemed mostly like a dinosaur to me and while I am convinced it will take the carnataurus route, now I can't get those spino chilipeper designs out of my head. The quaxly line is also really cool. I love the pirate captain direction, and for me I thought it would grow into either a pure and noble albatross, or a scruffy vicious frigate bird.
I could see Fuecoco getting thinner with much bumpier skin, like a pepper as it dries out since that also makes them hotter and could make him look like a decaying corpse.
i LOVE them! they look really cool, especially Curmawl and Suchili - though i think Claire's designs looked too much like they were just wearing clothes, but the whole pirate theme is really cool. I've also been thinking (then forgetting, and/or drawin somethin else - frickin procrastination lol) about some of my own ideas for these, and i love to see someone else notice the skull mask-like face of Fuecoco! Mine's gonna be Fire/Ground tho, i really don't think they'd do Fire/Ghost for this Gen, simply because we just had Hisuian Typhlosion (sure, they did Fire/Fighting 3 Gens in a row, but i think they've learned from that). that's also why i don't see Quaxly becoming Water/Dark, even if it becomes a pirate (again, would LOVE to see that - maybe Water/Ghost? sunken ship elements or somethin?) anyway sorry for wastin ur time (almighty Sinnoh would be disappointed) with my frickin THESIS, have a good day y'all :)))
My only gripe is the middle evolution of Fuecoco. His eyes are just to weird. I get that its transitioning into the skull like eyes of the final form but he just looks kinda... cracked out? LOVE the final evo though and all the other starters
Considering the Mediterranean influence on this gen I would love to see a design inspired by Spanish conquistadors for Quaxley, maybe the final stage evo could even be called Conquaxador with design motifs to suggest the famous armour and puffy neck frills of the Spanish soldiers
@@labeltraneja1611 lmao true, they might draw influence from the sterotypical figure of a conquistador but it would likely not be anything blatant, because you know referencing genocidal slaver conquerors isn't a good thing.
I associate Fuecoco with Jamon Iberico instead of Chilis, but Chilis certainly lean into heat! And the Spinosaurus inspiration is excellent! There's a lot of spinosaur species in the Iberian peninsula, And I was really hopeful gamefreak would lean into that!
Just saying, I think the common theory currently is that the grass starters are all some type of extinct animal. Venusaur - Dicynodont Meganium - Sauropod Sceptile - Raptor Torterra - Ankylosaurus Serperior - Titanoboa Chesnaught - Doedicurus Decidueye - Stilt Owl Rillaboom - Gigantopithecus
I mean, can't you find an extinct version/prototype of just about any existing animal? By that logic you can really just find any animal, make it a grass starter, and tie it to some older and extinct version of said animal.
Must say: gen 9 is straight up Spain and Portugal, not the other Mediterranean countries (we can see part of the region map that lines up with the western coast of the Iberian Peninsula, and also a map of Spain), so the Fleur de Lys is not that comboluted, as the Borbon royal family of Spain comes from the Anjou french royal family (Louis XIV and those), who used the Fleur de Lys as emblem. Also, that makes me and a lot of people think that Sprigatito is gonna be an Iberian Lynx
Your version of Sprigatito is what I have been hoping for. I tend to choose Pokemon on the basis of who I would most like to live with. And I can almost imagine my Sprigatito and I exploring the Pokemon world together and making new recipes for food and medicine. I can't help but adore Camewmile because it kinda looks like my own cat. I can visualise it proudly bring a new herb leave it has found. And Curmawl is just such a perfect thrid stage evolved form. It looks like a matured and grown up form. Also love the way you have incorporated the flowers into the design. I am hoping that they do use some flowers into the official version as well. Litgarto is such a chubby cute thing, I just want to cuddle it, and that you have found a something to connect a dinosaur to an adorable Bubble Bobble plush is amazing.
Just before this video came up in my notifications, I had just finished my own spinosaurus inspired Fuecoco evolution. While I hadn't done a ghost pepper, I did give it a skull and rib structure on it. Interesting to see how a similar concept can result in two very different final products. Also, love the shiny for Suchili.
I kinda want new and more unique typing for them. Water steel for the water starter, fire poison would be cool seeing the pepper, the grass type grass fairy like u suggested would be cool.
Idk how they would do this but I want Fuecoco to evolve into a really bulky pokemon like Feraligatr without it being "Feraligatr but fire." Fire type starter pokemon always have a very sleek or streamlined design, (Emboar being the exception, and perhaps Incineroar) so I hope we get another powerhouse of a tank fire type. Starters have also become increasingly more humanoid so I hope we get some more beastlike starters this time around.
Thank god. I was so worried youd go the Serpent route with your Fuecoco Fakemon evos. Didnt see the Spinosaurus comming but it still looks close enough to a crocodile so i suppose it works.
Good job on all of these! Sprigatitto evo rocks but personally I think it will be similiar to a lynx since it is an iberic peninsula species, in which the new gen is inspired. Great job tho !
Man you turned fuecoco's final evolution into exactly what I'm hoping for!! That was so dope. And I completely agree. While cute, Sprigatito's design struck me as the most plain and least exciting tbh. Also, I'm hoping Quaxly's final evolution will be a water/fighting type.
I love all these designs, but I do think that Curmawl's body is a bit too short, especially because of the matted fur/herbs that cover it's back legs that makes it looks really short and stocky rather than elegant. Elongating the body would work well imo.
So I don't think the Pokemon company is above using accessories in their pokemon designs 😅

coming back to this a year later, it's insane how you were spot on with the skeletal imagery in fuecoco's design. just the implication of a simplified skull in the first form was enough to lead a viewer to deduce that the evolution would expand upon that theme. ON TOP of being spot on with the typing. impeccable.
Holy crap, that prediction for Fuecoco was close! A Fire/Ghost croc w a skull motif. The stats are close, too: reasonably bulky special attacker
I think it would be cool if Fuecoco evolved to have some ghost-type features and maybe be a ghost pepper

I said the same thing when she started air brushing yellow. Give him back his blue footed booties.
I agree, that's such a big thing to overlook for her! I wonder if she wasn't in the right mind-space or something? The blue feet obviously reference a blue-footed bubi, I feel like they are something that should have been brought along for something so obvious.
I never noticed he was a blue footed boobie…….. MY DREAM IS NOW REALITY (although kingfishers are my favorite bird therefore my favorite animal overall and we don’t have a kingfisher Pokémon yet… sad.)

god. your fuecoco is so good. i hate to bash other fakemon artists but i feel like you're one of the few who can properly take a concept of a starter and like, evolve it i guess? a lot of other people tend to just take the first one and make it bigger but you really use the evolutions to develop a concept and its just SO good
Personally, I think ur sprigatito final evo is probably as close to perfect as u can get without being an officially licensed pokemon.
Starters have gone into the Dino area before tho ? The grass starters mostly
@@fuzya8636 I think u made a good point about it usually being grass starters though, and on top of that, they r usually not carnivorous like in the art here. Idk, it just doesn't look like something they would do. Just my opinion though.

Oh. My. God. That's awesome!!!
They don't even mess with him that much because he's not much of a speaker, instead his crew knows what to do just by his gaze or small directions he does

Hi
Oh, why hello there. Didn't expect to see you here.
The moment you mentioned the meaning of "sprig" I remembered a concept I had for a new trio of starters, them being based on medicine, half joke half serious, let me explain:
Grass: based on classic medicines only using plants, roots, and animal parts, also adding the spiritual side of that medicine, grass psychic.
Ooo I would love to see these seem interesting
Eating the stomach to cure the stomach??
@@Jormyyy is like getting spare parts for your body, ancient cultures believed eating animal or even human parts of what you had damaged would heal you, broken arm? Eat arm, broken leg? Eat leg, constant heart attacks? Eat a fckn human heart.
PD: I made a mistake, I rewrote the comment and it was meant to say "eat animal stomach to heal your own stomach"
Now, on the other hand, using a snakes poison to cure yourself isn't crazy, you can study it to find what can heal it, or even use the poison itself to create medicine against itself
Oh my god. Bowser Fuecoco. I need him.
@@Scriblyn that might make sense since the duck one looks like a mario refrence maybe sprigato will be a refrence to princess peach then
I personally think Quaxly is based on a matador, which is most well known for the Spanish-style bullfighting.
I think would make Quaxly’s final form the first water starter Pokémon to be a Water/Fighting type.
@@mranima748 As an Spanish person I can say that you are right. Is useless to bring bullfighting in a pokemon game, appart from the fact that this topic can throw up a great controversy.

I’m extremely disappointed that quaquaval didn’t look like this
You know what would be interesting for a region? The starters becoming Fire/Grass, Grass/Water, Water/Fire.
Yeah that's cool
That's what I first thought too when I saw the potential for pepper croc to be Fire/Grass!
I'd like to see a Grass/Dragon, Water/Dragon and Fire/Dragon final trio - only issue could be the quad ice weakness for the grass starter and ice being neutral for the other two
Gen 4.
Starter: Water
1.) Water/Flying. a strange stone triangle/tablet.
Hope you all have some cool ideas.
your fuecoco line is gonna make me so sad when the real line is revealed, yours is so creative and interesting
I don’t think Suchili is too graphic, because its name immediately makes me think the red pattern is simply hot sauce
I love that fuecoco’s final evo is inspired by spinosaurids! they’re some of my favorite dinos and very appropriate for the irl regions that inspired the new gen. I also love that it’s ghost type and has a skeletal design, I’m a sucker for that stuff
The most convincing fakemons so far. Not only in design, also the concepts are so smart and creative.
I’m so happy you made the fuecoco evolutions as fire ghost, I’m really hopeful it’s the direction the official design goes in too
Curemawl looks *fantastic.* It'd be great to have some tougher, tricksier fairies along with all the fluffy pink ones.
“Controversial medicinal herbs”? That I can get behind.
The prediction for Fuecoco actually got really close to the real thing.
Not at all
My hopes for the final starter evolutions are:
A Grass/Psychic type evolution for Sprigatito drawing from Iberian Lynxes and Sabre Toothed cats.
The puss n boots design is just people being realistic. We all know what designs GF likes to do.
I agree with your points, although I wish that Suchili had a more bulky build to match the first two evos
While i do like the idea of Quaxley turning into a sailor/pirate type design, I do think it'll end up turning into a Don Quixote type character (especially considering how important the don quixote story is to Spanish culture), maybe turning into a bumbling squire for the middle Evo and then a knight
Quaxote?
And then Chivalruck
As an alternative. A dandy duck. The blue toupee/ hat morphing into a pompadour or a fancy fedora.
Quaxly->Goosanova->Donswan

Curmawl is the one for me, best grass starter design we've had.
Mine's gonna be Fire/Ground tho, i really don't think they'd do Fire/Ghost for this Gen, simply because we just had Hisuian Typhlosion (sure, they did Fire/Fighting 3 Gens in a row, but i think they've learned from that). that's also why i don't see Quaxly becoming Water/Dark, even if it becomes a pirate (again, would LOVE to see that - maybe Water/Ghost? sunken ship elements or somethin?)
anyway sorry for wastin ur time (almighty Sinnoh would be disappointed) with my frickin THESIS, have a good day y'all :)))
This would probably be controversial. Don't think spanish conquerors need praise anymore.
@@labeltraneja1611 lmao true, they might draw influence from the sterotypical figure of a conquistador but it would likely not be anything blatant, because you know referencing genocidal slaver conquerors isn't a good thing.
These designs are solid. I enjoyed these trio the most, compared to other ones.
I think he really looks like a stuffed pimiento del piquillo. It matches even the colours of the sauces that are usually served with 😋
Just saying, I think the common theory currently is that the grass starters are all some type of extinct animal.
Venusaur - Dicynodont
Meganium - Sauropod
Sceptile - Raptor
Torterra - Ankylosaurus
Serperior - Titanoboa
Chesnaught - Doedicurus
Decidueye - Stilt Owl
Rillaboom - Gigantopithecus
Sprigatito = Sabertooth Tiger?
@@Aeiko. Possibly! Could also be a cave lion since they lived in spain
Bulbasaur = beezulbufo
Rillaboom being a Gigantopithecus is the biggest stretch since the vines on its Gmax form.
Definitly infinitely better than the real deal >.>
Yaaa time for some more pokemon, man just gets and artists brain pumping and their hands raring to go for all that new found inspiration!!
These are all *SO* great
🌿🔥🌊
I’m kind of worried it’s gonna make me feel disappointed in the official evolutions🤔
Same
You most definitely will be disappointed
Sooo much better than what we got lol
I would love it if fuecoco evolved into those! It would honestly be my favorite start and pokemon ever if it was real!
I kinda want new and more unique typing for them. Water steel for the water starter, fire poison would be cool seeing the pepper, the grass type grass fairy like u suggested would be cool.
Water steel already happened.
@@gladyssablan-modina2868 ik that i want more of the typing
Bro, I'd kill to get these exact starter lines! These are super originally and awesomely designed!!
Ayo at least Sprig isnt standing amiright?
@@danteloparco6708 Wether or not it's standing kind of doesn't matter.
Love all of them but specially Suchili, both the design and the name 😍
I love all these designs, but I do think that Curmawl's body is a bit too short, especially because of the matted fur/herbs that cover it's back legs that makes it looks really short and stocky rather than elegant. Elongating the body would work well imo.
i still havent played SV but im really excited to see how close the designs are
You actualy got the fire ghost typing right, i think i only actualy like the fire starter line from the starters this time
