ua-cam.com/users/livelu4oK0meqnU?si=doEmoD5oAFBVAcvC They were having stream issues, so the start is cut off. But it's at the beginning of this video. It was the first match of the day.
On D T1 1 drop, T2 Snake, T3 Pinocchio the deceiver of all hit with snake. We have 8 targets that serve as an answer. I know one depends on having a mim snake, but between that like and rafiki the pinnocio seems like a good option
I do think pinocchio is a good option for sure. Definitely the best overall option for that slot. I was especially worried about ursula and it's just a little worse for that job specifically.
Any thoughts on Prince Eric expert helmsman? I saw him see some play earlier on, but it seems like he is being dropped due to being uninkable and probably due to being difficult to line up his removal capabilities if people don’t quest or have characters with power 2 or greater. He also doesn’t attack locations all that well.
What do you think of adding Pinocchio- on the run to this deck? Personally I prefer running Pinocchio talkative puppet in the deck as opposed to last ditch, would be a decent shift with some utility.
I think the exert pinocchio is a totally reasonable option and most Ruby Amethyst players are playing him right now. I tried him tonight again and he was good. He's better at most things other than removing ursula so it really depends on what you're worried about. As far as the bounce pinocchio, I'm not really sold on him. It might be a reasonable option in aggro deck, but in the control deck it seems a lot less impactful than our other 5 drops.
I don't like it much anymore. The problem with locations is that they are either crazy good or absolutely horrible. That's not so bad when you can ink them, but I found RLS legacy was dead weight a little too often.
Decklists have not been published yet as far as I know. I know there were at least 2 Ruby Amethyst decks, 1 blue steel, 1 blurple deck, and 1 Amber Steel deck that doesn't really fit the typical archetypes we see in those inks. Not sure on the last few, but it was a pretty decent mix overall.
Jaffar on play is just so stupid. Literally a game of solitaire over there. They dont even need to care about your board and they can still win. Even one of the best players in the game. With a top deck still gets absolutely destroyed. They are ruining this game sadly.
I mean it can be a problem, but there are other decks that can go off like that too. Steelsong can certainly do similar things. It's just how games like this work sometimes. Take the good with the bad I suppose. I still think it's a balanced deck overall.
I gotta agree with the Merlin Crab assessment. It's been really good for me.
Great and insightful video as always! We enjoyed meeting you at the event!
As always I enjoy your videos and you gave me a great starting point to add and remove somethings for my Pixelborn.
Saw one of your matches on the stream. Very exciting games to watch!
That green steel match was a good one too see too.

Not going to lie, it was SWEET seeing Ruby Amethyst getting controlled in that Jafar match up lol

Deck def should have the exert Pinocchio. Exert Jafar and attack it with Maui or just any character.

He's just OK. Not a bad card, but I think him being uninkable is what holds him back.
Great job!
Thanks!
P/S is actually what my brother plays, it's really good!

I would go 3 Olaf and 2 Minnie Mouse instead but that’s just me…….
Thoughts on RLS legacy in this deck? Currently have 3 copies with four Jim Hawkins.
I dropped down to two RLS

What were the other decks in the top 8?
Jaffar, Sapphire Steel, Steel song (Winner), Another Amethyst Ruby Bounce, shift Steel Emerald, and don't remember the other
There technically was no true winner, as top 8 decided to just share the prize money! There was several ruby amethyst lists.
I'm guessing you're referring to the TheaBeasty event? I got top 8 in a paper event going on the same weekend.

Someone’s lost to jaffar one to many times 😂😂😂
A deck that's a super small portion of the meta game is ruining the game. Thanks for the update. I'll quit playing now.

Time to quit lorcana bro
If you have an issue with Jafar add more removal to your deck. Every color besides Amber has some type of removal.
