Kyrgyzstan 🇰🇬 The Tian Shan Mountains aka the Mountains of Heaven.
I headed out there with Beyond the Ultimate before the inaugural Mountain Ultra in July 2023 for a recce, an acclimatisation trek and then the race itself. Trekking and Camping for nearly 3 weeks, spending time with locals, soaking up the views and living the dream :-)
Kyrgyzstan got under my skin and I cant wait to return.
