Chaos Tackle Original Assault Stick Unboxing - First Reaction!

I got my hands on one of these rods after a number of years of looking at them. So, I guess, technically this isn't the first time I have ever had one in my hands but it is the first one I have owned. There was an opportunity to buy one that was blemished, only because the telescoping part was a bit tight. Other than that it is in perfect working order.

ricks ability to pack rod tubes with lures is astounding. always gotta check if you ordered small baits or hooks.

How does the tranx fit in the reel seat?

I had 9,6 shock and awe get stuck open. I was told the best way to get unstuck was a sharp tap on the handle end on a solid surface. Do not do this unless you remove your reel from the rod first. I snapped a tranx 400 frame trying to get my rod retracted. Expensive lesson

Uh yeah! Did you get your reel replaced? What ended up happening with that?
