About Me: I'm not a pro mountain biker. Just an average guy loving all the adventures mountain biking has to offer. I do tons of volunteer work for my local bike park and I try and get out to build trails as much as I can when I am not riding or working. My dream is to be able to ride every day or help out with maintaining/ building trails.
Oh man, that came out great! One step at a time.
Lot's of good boulders in that area. This is where Joe suggested a playground.
Man, you sure put in a ton of work out there...glad to see your channel still growing.
Thanks, I love this type of work and for some odd reason I do like punishment. LOL
Just caught up on the last three videos. The maps are great and the work will pay off! I have a Harbor Freight 12k winch and a couple snatch blocks that would move those logs and boulders right where you want them. The winch is mounted on a tray that will slide into any 2" receiver (even the Rokon) so I can move it anywhere I want it, including just strapping it to a tree or other object more stationary than what I hope to move. I wired it with a pair of jumper cables so I can clamp it to a deep cycle battery or right to the vehicle I'm bracing it with. Also have a receiver welded to the front of my trailer to mount it there for pulling vehicles on. Millions of uses when it isn't mounted solid in your vehicle bumper.
Thank you for following along on all the progress. That 12k winch sounds like it would be a great investment and would make my life way easier. I might be able to put this all on the Rokon trailer to make it really quick to and mobile to go move all the stuff I need to. Always fun to get new toys to play with.
Dang man good work. Iv built a few lines and trail sections before but never moved huge bolders like that. Much respect!
You're a maniac dude! That looked like some serious work! Great job.
Thank you, it was definitely a lot of work. I just hope mountain bikers really appreciate the hard work trail builders put into the cool features that exist all over the trails we ride. Behind each one of those is a lot of blood, sweat, and tears.
Awesome, what a process
Thanks, I hope I won't have to move to many boulders that far again. My arms were wiped out for a few days after that
Nice work Aaron!
Thanks! Happy New year
Great job Aaron .you’re an animal .hard work for sure .can’t wait for end result.
Thanks, I can't wait to get that feature done and ride it. I think it's going to be a really sick line
Great sound effects!
Glad you like them! Those are kinda of time consuming to put in the videos
Great work. Thanks for documenting your trail creation
Thank you. It's a pleasure to show the work. I hope I can get better at the story telling as I keep making these trail build videos.
Great job Aaron - it's a never ending saga! 🤘🏼
Seems like I get a lot done but still feel like I'm barely scratching the surface of what's to come.
The rock roller is going to be cool
I really hope so. My hands still hurt from that day
True Grit!
Thanks, I try to make it hurt everyday. Trails gotta get to a level of epicness never seen by any mountain biker. Well, at least that is the goal.
You could make a meteor track and call it that, with that deep groove ;)
I'm thinking I just need to pull that rock all over the place to help cut in a trail.
@@mtbingadventures1551 bahaha
Rock n Roll!
Rolling rocks is fun.
Your "trial and error" makes our lives easier ... 👍
I'm glad to help. LOL. I hope the trails come out really amazing overtime so those who get to ride them will really enjoy them.
Love watching the progress #sweatequity at #Everstoke 👍🚵🏻⛏
Glad to hear you liking the videos. Definitely some sweat equity going on at Everstoke
What about an electric winch with a car battery?
I'm not sure what my buddy Dan has in mind. It will be tricky to get close enough to use it. There are some very steep grades where the logs are placed. I'm hoping he will be able to get back out there soon.
Seems like u do all the work while bkxc is allergic to labor
He's been tackling a lot of projects. Not sure if you watched the last video he did out there about the well. The research he put into that and how long it took him to build the house, do the plumbing, and electrical was a ton of work. That came out really good and I'm super glad he took on that project.
