Stihl Frankenstein Motorized bike tuned expansion chamber made from scrap metal

- I filmed how I made a tuned expansion chamber with limited tools and experience. I want to thank all the people who made this information accessible to me through putting it online somewhere. The motor on the bike I made by splicing together a motorized bike bottom end and a Stihl chainsaw cylinder. I am by no means the first to do that and would like to thank the many people before me who pioneered the art of making a cheap engine go fast. I've pulled from many sources and to site them all would take a long time but I recommend checking out 2stroke stuffing and AuMechanic on UA-cam if you're interested in this stuff. May the 2 stroke never die, Amen.
Everybody makes mistakes, but most people either give-up, or have others fix them, lol, our mistakes is what makes us better at whatever it is we do, so don't beat yourself up over them, good-job, great video, and thanks for sharing.
that square exhaust is cool as hell 😎
Yo! This bought to blow up! Im talkin bout this vid not that exhaust pipe!
Lmao!
Practice will make perfection one day you will look back at this video and have your own experience keep on practicing you will get there.
Awesome job man! sounds sooooo good
It making good low end torque w the 36t sounding real good
I've been thinking of doing the same thing with mine. I was thinking of getting some copper sheet and riveting it. You did an excellent job on that though! It looks and sounds great.
"It's pretty cool I'm not gunna lie" God I love this guy !!!
It’s takes guts to make make something from scratch and put it out there for the world to see but good job bike sounds awesome
Your so skilled at fab work I say you make a case reed for your saw build it would be killer to watch too. Bro I freekin love the obvious torque ýour 660 makes, braaaap.
Very cool. Braaaap all the way. Thanks for the ride.
Love the work
Well done.. Keep practicing and it will come easier. Nice job all up and very well done in taking initiative on a DIY project.
I would say you did a great job on your pipe
Looks like Sammy Davis Junior welded that with his feet, but sounds real good man
lol
Nice work 🚲💨💨💨on the build 💨💨💯👍🤙
Sounds good.
Nice build bro
Your bike is nice too
sounds sick asf
Great job
Thankyou, I watch your videos and have learned a lot from you about port timing and things like that.
@@getitrunningdunning5588 thanks big credit for making your own pipe great job how did it work out for you I have few pipe calculators on my playlist.
@@2strokecarbtuningportingin187 it works pretty well, need a bigger back sprocket to really feel it I think. I'll check your videos out for sure, thankyou.
Good stuff man
Very cool bud
hey, your stuff is very cool too, I like your channel.
@@getitrunningdunning5588 thank you for that I try but I got a couple builds, well what I consider cool; coming up
That sounds good
I have to admit, I got a good laugh at your square tube pipe. But I imagine it worked enough to sort out your motor. If you are not using .023" wire on the thin stuff, you should. Also you can clamp a copper drop bar on the inside while you are welding the cones. That will help. Good luck on all of this.
thankyou
congrats!
thankyou sir
That's sick yo! I love how it sounds just like a 125cc dirtbike. All made with your own hands and skill. Much respect. Did you use a stroker crank or is it just a 40mm?
40 mm, the ms660 (56 mm version) is the largest bore i could find with a 40 mm stroke. I'm interested to use longer strokes but wanted to keep this build pretty cheap :), thankyou
LOL it just gets better and better
Start a company !! That's how Harley started. Saw WHEAT.
Cool 😎
Keep It up mate and it Will come to you !
Did you try on some scrap first to adjust your amps ?
And what pressure was your argon set at ?
That expansion chamber has welding leprosy.. man oh man!
lol
Bro that shi go BrrrrrrrAP. Then you put on the paint can and it went Hmmmmmmmmmmmbtrrrr
apt analysis
Beautiful work
thanks piam
What size piston is in that ?did u notice anything from making that pipe? Bro I just bought the 2nd gen phantom it's quick and fast but I wsnt to slam a 56 mm piston in it but trying to see if anyone had any ideas what ones just slap on
56 mm, yeah the pipe has helped a lot especially after tuning the carb and taking the power jet off. I think the phantom 85 has a 52 mm piston if im not mistaken, which should give some good power but the quality of those cylinders isn't the best from my experience. I think if you could find a way to slap on a true stihl cylinder it would be much more powerful, you could do a 52 mm stihl and it would be better even though it's the same displacement. It would require you to do some machining unfortunately and that's what's so great about the phantom 85 heads, they just pop right on there no work required. You could try porting it, opening it up a little but it would be hard with a single piece head. Good luck sir.
@@getitrunningdunning5588 thanks bud and yea it's a 52 mm piston and bro them jugs suck balls I have the 2nd gen and yesterday on way back from rolling something broke off In it and destroyed the piston and jug 😠🤨
@@getitrunningdunning5588 I slapped my anbull 50 mm "100"cc on the bike and bro this thing rides 1000 times smother then phantom and is hitting damn near same speeds with out the reed and window piston
@@getitrunningdunning5588 I'm gna put a reed and w.piston in the anbull and I think it's gna smoke the phantom
@@getitrunningdunning5588 hey I was thinking if u rewrap that expansion chamber that you made with another layer of that sheet metal it'll probably get rid of the ruin Tin popping sound
You need some proper brakes especially with that power plant, nice bike tho love the yellow.
I agree lol, thankyou
Nice did it feel more powerful
it did indeed
where do you want to go with this engine? i mean, the goal
that's a good question, I'd love to sell a few and take this one to some type of track or something and really see what it can do.
Thinking about doing the samething not sure but the little ride you took looked like it was right below the cornstalks height district if I am right hit me up.
Nah, Chicago. Let me know if you need any help on ur build tho, happy to help.
subscription. You have a two spark plug engine.
How fast it goes bro ??
supposedly makes peak hp around 50-60 mph, haven't ridden it that fast yet but I'm working on it :)
@@getitrunningdunning5588 like to see what u can do no lie !
Looks like Southside Chicago,am I correct??
Chicago's right, more west than south though.
Jus giver sum paint n she’s good
Will you post the build of the Stihl build. 461 or 661 or what?
066?
It's a ms 660 with a big bore 56 mm cylinder (pretty sure normal ms660s have a 54 mm bore). Currently making a few more, learned from gangster builder on youtube and some motorized bike forums.
@@getitrunningdunning5588 did you use a yd100 rod or 120 mil Husqvara cut-off saw rod
I will keep trying till I get it right. The cheap castings on the bottom keep cracking on me. They just dont last.
it's tricky, i'm going to try and reinforce them w some aluminum welding on my next build
yo you in chicago ?
yup
Were all human Bro and that's the best way to learn is making mistakes
Holy mother of God what are you doing?
Why didn’t you open it up ?
I'll be doing another video soon where I do, honestly a little scared, need to find a road with no cars or potholes.
..jack shaft , 3 speed internal hub..
I've tried a jackshaft on a different build with a derailleur, that internal hub undoubtedly is a better solution. I'm thinking about trying to find some type of stand alone gearbox, or maybe even making one in the future.
dude you need to put disc brakes on the front, rim brakes wont stop you if they get wet....
Lol bro give tin man is junk back how are they gna make another wizard of oz if tin man can't make a Jr aaah hahaha
the pipe is tin man jr lol
@@getitrunningdunning5588 lol his wife's gna be pissed
@@joneserupinsmoke9161 lol
Oh no it's bad
ur bad
This contraption is ugly as hell!
