    And his dance is the "Duck walk" invented by Chuck Berry and perfected by Angus

    • @jeff316
      @jeff316 5 років тому +8

      Angus did things with that duck walk, when he was younger, that no one ever could, before or since. He appeared like a man possessed...and never missed a note. Absolutely amazing!

    • @MrTech226
      @MrTech226 5 років тому +5

      AJ, do you know why Chuck Berry did the 1st "Duck Walk"? He stated in an interview that he hold new pants kinda wrinkled, so Chuck did the walk to straighten the wrinkles. So in RockNRoll history, his dance is famous that Angus did his version years later as tribute to Chuck Berry.

    To answer the question of audience size, probably over 70, 000. They hold the unofficial record for their Monsters of Rock concert in Moscow (with Metallica/Crue/Black Crowes and Queensryche) where the concert had to be moved from a stadium to the Tushino Airfield due to audience size. The audience was estimated at app 1.6 MILLION people, and they needed over 1000 militiamen to guard the stage.

    Little Angus Young wears a school uniform on stage with a classic British school boy cap. It's his signature look and has been since the 70s 🤘🏻

      Even in his 60's, when he wears the uniform, and with his energy on stage, he still looks like a teenager from a distance. Close up, he appears the old man, but he still seems inhabited by a youngster. When he plays with Guns & Roses on stage, he wears jeans and a t-shirt, but I hope he wears the uniform with AC/DC until his last official performance.

    Donington 1991 was 72,500 people, which is the maximum crowd they allowed at the time. There had been more people in earlier editions but they had problems and incidents so they reduced the crowd capacity.

    This show at DONNINGTON is their best show ever and their then current line up was legendary, Brian Johnson (vocals), Angus Young (lead guitar), Malcolm Young(rhythm guitar), Cliff Williams (Bassist), and Chris Slade (Drums) the beast on drums! Shit, it would have been my ideal job if I were hired to be a camera person, to record this show as it happened.

    I would like you to review Thunderstruck from Live at Donnington. I know you have done the official video version of the same track, but to me AC/DC are essentially a live band, their sounds rip the air, but on an album, or even a formal video, the sound seems to be sort of "flattened out". This whole 1991 Donnington concert sound production is unbelievably good.
