It's a shame this game hasn't gotten the love it deserves. The ARMA 2 mod was a blast. Only problem was finding a server with at least some people in it. Really taught me more about human nature than any class ever did.
The game looks amazing if youre running on the right settings. I play on Console and it usually doesnt look that good but even Ive had moments where the game ran super buttery and looked gorgeous. Mainly in forests with not much else going on.

once i spawned on the beach and met a guy that just spawned next to me, we made it to north, so many adventures and fun, i got beaten by zombies and needed to rest, we stopped in a town to rest, when night came he said he is going out to get some firewood, after 20sec i heard a gunshot, and waited my friend for 10 mins, he didnt come back, so i went after him but didnt find his body, it was so dark, but at least i killed the killer, avanged his death, i didnt get his steam id or any other source to contact him, hope you are doing good partner.
I don’t know why so many people are hating on the game, since 1.0 came out and mod ports have been introduced the game has roughly 9-10,000 concurrent players when it used to sit around 1-2k max, the game is fun and the diversity it has is amazing Dayz is a unique game and I enjoyed all 4,000 hours between standalone and the mod and still do enjoy it.

Now if it was not a shotgun it will be good. You might end up turning your friend into red paste. A pistol or a rifle may be good if you manage to not point the gun at her and the gun is not inaccurate. But the risk is still there.
People complaining about it sounds like they didnt play for more than a couple hours,give it one more chance and actually try to learn how to play i guarantee you,gonna have some fun
The DayZ Mod was one of my favorite games. DayZ Standalone I couldnt play because of the bad performance. I would really like to play it again.. so.. surprise us! :D

Same it works just fine as a survival game and most other survival games have a singleplayer mode(personally I think it would work better if the servers were smaller as emptier servers feel more like the apocalypse took place instead of running into another player every 30 seconds, at at least give more experienced players a reason to go inland instead of shooting at new players on the beach(if I wanted to pvp ALL THE TIME I would be playing pubg it's combat is just as good)
