It's about getting a realistic perspective on why a women at home is not the same generally as a man at home. It may be 50/50 to raise a child between parents but that doesn't mean they aren't bringing unique skills to the table. The man is uniquely able to work much longer hours during those first few years where as a woman generally can not. I hope that makes sense
